"Chelly's Great Divide: A Tale of Mitosis"

Students will demonstrate their understanding of mitosis by creating a creative digital story that follows a cell character through the stages of mitosis.


Review the steps of mitosis using your textbook, notes, or classroom materials. Make sure you understand:
-The purpose of mitosis
-What happens during each phase: Interphase, Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase, Cytokinesis
Plan Your Story:
-Create a main character (it can be a cell, nucleus, chromosome, etc.)
-Write a storyline where the character goes through the stages of mitosis
-Make it engaging and age-appropriate—use humor, emotion, or suspense!
