About The AuthorAnais Berumen is a currently a freshman and attends John
Paul Stevens High School (Class of 2018). Anais is a hard worker
in school and does all she can to make sure she has straight A's.
Aside from school, however, Anais takes time for herself to enjoy
activities she loves such as reading and listening to music. She also
loves to help others and enjoys making people laugh. She hopes
that this book can inspire others to want to create their own books
and share their ideas with others.

Candy Sleighs: A Christmas Treat
(Serves:10 )
Ingredients:
-10 fun-size Nestle crunch bars (any other fun size bar will
work)
-20 miniature candy canes
-20 gummy bears
-3 tablespoons white frosting
Directions:
1.Unwrap candies and have ready, you will need to work
quickly.
2.Use frosting to attach candy canes onto the sides of the the
candy bar to create a sleigh.
3.Attach gummy bears sitting on the top of the candy bar with
the frosting.



Sugar Plums: A Christmas Treat
(Yield: 1 dozen)
Ingredients:
-1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
-3/8 cup fine coconut
-1 (1 1/2 ounce) package red Jell-O, any flavour
-1 (3/4 ounce) package red Jell-O, same flavour
-1 (3 1/2 ounce) sweetened condensed milk
Directions:
1.Mix graham crumbs, coconut, large package of jello (dry mix) and
milk together really well.
2.Shape into 1 inch balls.
3.Roll in remaining package of jello (dry mix).
4.Reshape if necessary (You can shape them like strawberries if you
want).
5.Chill.
6.Keep them in the fridge or freezer-they taste better cold.



Nutter Butter Turkeys: A Thanksgiving Treat
(Serves: 10)
Ingredients:
-10 Nutter Butter sandwich cookies
-10 Oreo Double Stuff cookies
-5 ounces candy corn
-20 M&M's
-10 small red jelly beans
-5/8 cup white frosting
-1 1/4 to taste black decorating gel (in a tube)
-1 1/4 to taste white decorating icing (in a tube)
Directions:
1.Create the tail feathers: Push 7 candy corns into the sides of the double-stuff oreos.
2.Add the turkey body. Add frosting to a plastic bag. Snip a small piece from the corner. Put a
dab of white frosting onto the center of the Oreo. Press a Nutter Butter cookie on top of the
Oreo cookie.
3.Add the face: Cut 8 candy corns in half for the noses. Put a fat "T" onto the front of the
Nutter Butter cookie. Press two M&M eyes into the frosting. Next add the candy corn nose,
then add a red jelly bean (lengthwise) below the nose.
4.Eye detail: (Option 1) Using a tube of black decorating gel, put a dot on each eye. You can
then put a tiny dot of white icing, using a toothpick. (Option 2) Switch the colors and pipe a
dot of white frosting onto the brown eyes, then add a tiny dot of black gel with a toothpick.



Cornucopia Snacks: A Thanksgiving Treat
(Serves :15)
Ingredients:
-2 1/2 cups Bugles original flavor snacks
-1 1/4 cups Trix cereal
-10 ounces white icing
Directions:
1.lightly over-stuff each Bugle with white icing.
2.Place various colors of Trix cereal on icing. (Try to use
enough cereal to cover most of the icing).
3.The result should look like a miniature cornucopia of fruit!.
4.Make a bunch, because they will disappear quickly!



Spider Pretzels: A Halloween Treat
(serves: 2)
Ingredients:
-4 round crackers
-4 teaspoons creamy peanut butter or 4 teaspoons cream
cheese
-16 small pretzel sticks
-4 raisins
Directions:
1.Spread peanut butter on one cracker and "sandwich" with
the other cracker.
2.Insert eight pretzel legs into the filling between the
crackers.
3.Use dabs of peanut butter to affix the raisin eyes.



Apple Smiles: A Halloween Treat
(Serves: 6-8)
Ingredients:
-2 whole apples (With Peel)
-6 -8 tablespoons peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
-1/2 cup miniature marshmallow
Directions:
1.Cut apples into 6-8 slices.
2.Cover 1 side of apple slice with about 1 tbs. of Peanut
Butter.
3.Stand up 5 or 6 Marshmallows in a line along the peel edge
of apple.
4.Cover with another apple slice (like you are making a
sandwich).
5. Repeat with the other slices.
