The other players stand in the middle and try to avoid the ball.

If a player is hit, he/she looses his/her "life".

Players out of "lives", leave the game.

The game continues until only one player still has lives left.

This player is the winner.

                                 Hopscotch

            Some parents fondly remembered hopscotch, a simple and joyful game from their childhood. They drew it on the pavement, hopped on one foot, laughed out loud, and showed the children the magical rule: throw the stone, hop carefully through the squares, and come back without losing your balance! The little ones were delighted to discover this bouncy, energetic game full of fun!

The Rope

    Other parents fondly remembered The Rope, a game full of energy and laughter. Together with friends, they swung the long rope and jumped in rhythm, singing or keeping the beat. The children had fun trying to keep up and jump without tripping, discovering how fun and exciting this classic game is!

The game is played with two “end” players (one at the front and one at the back of the playing area).

In the middle stand all the other players, with their legs apart and without moving too much.

The two end players throw a ball to each other.

Goal of the end players:
To hit the players in the middle with the ball.

Goal of the middle players:
To avoid being hit by the ball.
If someone gets hit, they are out of the game.

The game continues until only one player remains in the middle, who is usually considered the winner.

Blindfly

It is a children's team game.

The blindfly child is blindfolded and the others around him tease him. The blindfly child tries to catch one of his teammates and when he succeeds, who it is?

Then that child becomes a blindfly, but if the blindfly child fails to recognize the person he caught, he continues until he manages to recognize the next blindfly player!

Broken telephone

All the children sit next to each other. The first one on the right leans into the ear of the one next to him and whispers a word to him.

The child who hears the word repeats it as he heard it and understood it into the ear of the one next to him and so on until the last one. The last child stands up and shouts it out loud, but usually, this word no longer has any relation to the original and everyone laughs

Fishing!

It is played with two players. Each player takes their own rod and starts fishing. Whoever catches the most fish is the winner!

The Little Handkerchief

The children form a circle and sit on their knees, facing the inside of the circle. One child, chosen by lot (the “mother” - is the child who goes around the circle), holds a handkerchief and dances around the outside of the circle, singing:

“Coarse salt, fine salt,
I’ve lost my mother
and I’m going to find her!
She didn’t buy me shoes
to go to the dance,
and if she doesn’t buy me any,
I won’t love her!”

As the “mother” sings and dances around the circle, they secretly drop the handkerchief behind one child and keep going until the others notice that they are no longer holding it. Then all the children reach behind themselves with their hands to check whether the handkerchief is there. The child who finds the handkerchief behind them, stands up and chases the “mother.”

If they catch the “mother,” they sit back down in their place with the other children, and the “mother” continues to be the mother until they manage to sit down. But if the “mother” manages to sit in the space of the child who stood up, then the child who lost their spot becomes the new “mother,” and the game starts again.

Little Helen

This game is played only by girls.
 The girls form a circle facing inward. In the center sits one girl, pretending to cry. The others walk around her in a circle and sing:

“Little Helen
is sitting and crying
because her girlfriends won’t play with her.
Get up, Helen, close your eyes
and catch whomever you want.”

The girl playing Helen then closes her eyes, stands up, and catches one of the other girls, who becomes Helen next. The game ends when every girl has had a turn playing Helen.

Colorful Race!!

Homemade game!

The game is played by two players. They place their pawns in the starting box and depending on what the dice bring, each player moves in their own direction. If they stop on a square with an arrow, they must move to the square that shows them. If they stop on a square with the symbol +5, they move 5 squares forward. If they find themselves on a square with the symbol -2, they go 2 squares back. If they stop on a square with a dice, they play again. The winner is whoever reaches the finish line first.

The game is played by two players.Each player has 3 attempts to throw the ball and score a goal in the opponent's goalpost. He places the ball between the rubber bands in his goal and stretches the rubber band to throw the ball. The winner is the player who manages to score a goal in the opponent's goalpost.

Home made game

Materials:
Plastic cups

Rope

Instructions:

Spread plastic cups on a table. Create a loop with a piece of string, and at four points, tie four long ropes in pairs. Two players sit facing each other and hold the ends stretched. The goal is for the loop to go around a cup and for the players to move it on top of another cup with such coordination that it doesn’t fall.

Materials: Cardboard paper for the cards, markers,  scissors, glue and 

canson cardboard for the game board.

The game is played by two players. The numbers are placed on the board upside dawn.  The  players turn the cards and try to reveal the numbers at the correct order from one to nine.All players have to remember where they have seen each number, The winner is the player who finds the most correct cards!!

Τriota is played by two children on a shape made of two concentric squares with their diagonals. In this game, one child has three stones and the other has three sticks. They place them on separate corners or in the center and try to align them in three straight lines!

Τhe classic memory game with various images.The student created the memory game with her mother using materials she had at home. Pieces of cardboard on which she drew pairs of her favorite pictures. We played and had a lot of fun!

 Ice Cream Shop

One child becomes the Ice Cream Vendor while the rest of the children act as Customers. The participants are encouraged to use their imagination, offer advice, and create their own unique ice cream shop. The role of the Ice Cream Vendor changes every 10 minutes so that all children have the opportunity to take turns as the vendor. The goal is to serve the customers their ice creams and, in doing so, "earn smiles." The instructions conclude with a note to have fun and a statement that the ice cream shop was "made with much love!!!"

The game is called “Throw the Bottles and Recycle!”

 To make it, we used plastic bottles, paper, rice, batteries, and some colorful paint!

Players throw a ball and try to knock down the recycling pins.

 The more pins you knock down, the more points you win! 

And here’s the fun part:
Every bottle that falls has to be put in the correct recycling bin, matching its color! 

Have fun… and help the planet at the same time!

Our game is called “A Castle to Help Us Get to Know Each Other!”
All we need is two little pawns and one dice. 

Both players roll the dice, and the one with the bigger number gets to start!
Then the player moves their pawn as many steps as the number shows.

When you land on a square, you answer the fun question waiting for you!
 It might ask things like:
What’s your favorite color?
Who is your best friend?
What’s your name?

Keep going, keep laughing, and…
the winner is the one who reaches the castle first! 

THE MULTI-STORY GARAGE

GAME DESCRIPTION: It is made of cardboard boxes and features three different levels for endless play with our toy cars.

GAME RULES:To start the journey, each driver rolls the die and moves their car forward as many steps as the number shown, counting out loud. We drive carefully, taking turns without crashing; we stop for gas if we pass the pump and always obey the Traffic Policeman. Our final goal is to arrive safely and park correctly in an empty spot, without knocking over the cones.

THE JOURNEY OF THE DROPLET

GAME DESCRIPTION: A 3D construction showing us the endless journey a water droplet makes in nature.

GAME RULES:To play, we use a blue cap or button as "Our Droplet" and a die. We start at "Collection" (the blue water at the bottom) and roll the die to move the droplet to the next station of the cycle (following the arrows), making the correct sound at each stop: we make a "whoosh" sound when rising high (Evaporation), clap our hands when becoming a cloud (Condensation), and tap our fingers on the table when falling like rain, until our droplet returns safely to the lake!

                            The Broom 

The Broom is a cheerful, mocking traditional dance from the island of Leros, symbolizing change and the shaking off of winter.

It is danced by couples and someone who instead of a checker holds a broom, as soon as he shouts the word “Change” … then everyone must change checkers and the person holding the broom must manage to “grab” someone’s checker. Whoever is left without a checker dances….with the broom.

You dance at parties and especially on Carnival.

It was on a cold and rainy day that the children enjoyed playing in the playground with their parents. Although not all families were able to come to school, it was a very fun and memorable day. Despite the weather, there were lots of smiles, laughter, and special moments shared together, making it a wonderful experience for everyone who attended. 

All the parents contributed to the creation of the games, and some even went the extra mile by making more than one. Most of the games were made using recycled materials, demonstrating not only creativity but also a commitment to sustainability.

We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm, dedication, and effort shown by all the families. The parents are truly amazing, and their involvement helped make this project a great success. Their support and creativity provided the children with wonderful opportunities to learn, play, and have fun together.
