Malala Yousafzai was born in 1997 in Swat Valley, Pakistan. She is a human rights and education activist, best known for defending girls right to go to school.                                    When the Taliban took control of her region, they bravely against this rule, even writing a blog for the BBC about her life under Taliban rule. Because of her activitism, she was shot by a Taliban gunman in 2012, but she survived and became even more stronger. After moving to the UK for treatament, Mlala continued her education and founded the Malala Fund, an organization that helps girls around the world to go to school. Today, Malala is a global symbol of peace courage, and the power of education to change the world.                                                                     

I admire Malala for her courage to fight for girl's right to education and because she never gave up.

Florence Nightingale was a British nurse, statiscian, and social reformar, widely known as the founder of modern nursing. She became famous during the Crimean War, where she cared for wounded soldiers in terrible conditions, improving hygiene, sanitation and patient care, naming her as '' The Lady with the Lamp''. Nightingale used statistics and innovative diagrams to show how better sanitation reduced mortality rates, influencing hospitals practices world wide. Her contributions  transformed healthcare , and her birthday, May 12, is celebrated  as International Nurses Day in her honor.

I admire Florence for her efforts in transforming nursing and saving lots of lives.
