CHAPTER

1

Once there were 2 children named Alex and Anna. Together with their mother and father, they went to the park because there was a meteor shower that night!

The Dark Night Sky

When they arrived, they saw lots of different people with picnic mats, food and more! They still had 1 hour to set up. So, Alex helped mother unpack the stuff while Anna was helping father put the telescope in the right place.

Everything was ready and everyone was excited. They still had 30 minutes to wait. "Father, when will it start?", asked Alex. "Be patient.", said father. "Ooh!", said Anna gazing at the sky. "Oh! 20 minutes left!", said mother "and also", mother added, "Why did you say Ooh Anna?". "It's because I saw the moon. It's so big!", replied Anna.

"Oh!" said mother "only 15 minutes left!". "I can't wait!", said Alex and Anna at the same time.

Finally, there were 5 more minutes left. Everyone was very excited.

"Yay! Shooting stars! Shooting stars!" sang Anna, dancing around. "3 more minutes to go.", said father.

"I can't wait!", said Alex, jumping around.

CHAPTER

2

The Star Show

"Did you know we do a countdown?", said father, "No." replied Anna and Alex at the same time. "Oh! Time for the countdown!" said mother. "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0!" said everyone at once, even other families. 

Whoosh! There was a big star that went across the sky. "Wow! Amazing!" everyone said. "So cool!" shouted Anna, giggling about. She was very excited. Whoosh! Another one and another one!

Lots of stars came falling down the sky. But one was tumbling instead in a straight line. It was coming towards Earth!

Then, suddenly, there was a loud BANG! It shocked everyone by surprising booms. BOOM, BOOM BOOM!

CHAPTER

3

Confusion Comes

All the booms were, luckily, fireworks. But what was the loud BANG? Anna and Alex knew they had to solve this mystery.

"Mother, can we go to the place where the BANG was?" asked Alex. "Sorry, but you can't go by yourself" replied Mother.                                                                                                                                          So, it was already 30 minutes of confusion, being surprised and scaredness.                                                 Surprised               Scared                 Confused

When the doctors came back, they said nobody luckily got hurt, but the thing that crashed was a big shooting star!

CHAPTER

4

Detective Time

All the people were so scared, but the kids were so excited to see the star. They have never seen the shooting star, so the news reporter and his crew came over. 

"Mother, can we now go to the shooting star?" asked Anna. "Ummm... Okay, you can go but you have to go with one of the police officers. So, Alex, Anna, and a kind police officer went to the shooting star. The star was bright yellow, and it had a golden steam rising into the dark, night sky. They thought it was dangerous. But Anna touched it by accident. They realised it was harmless, but it was a bit hot.                                                                                                                                                                                     Steam

5

 Another Mystery

But Anna did not know that there was a door at the back of the shooting star. "Wait, Anna! I might know how and why it is hot!" said Alex.

"Then how? asked Anna. "You know how the sun is a star? "Explained Alex. "Oh! Now I get it!" replied Anna.                                                                                                                                                                               Alex started exploring, then saw the door. "Umm Anna, since you are super good at space, why is there a door?" "a door! There can't be a door! Let me see. "Said Anna surprisingly. 

" Let's tell our parents," said Anna. "OK!" agreed Alex.                                                                                                              Mother and Father said they will come with them and the kind cop also came. The cop let them in as long he came with them. 

When they were inside, Anna's hair sparkled which means she had a thought.                                                                                                                                                                 "It looks more like a rocket. Definitely not a UFO." "Then what tells you it is a UFO" asked Alex. "It's simple," said Anna "There should be weird machinery, but it is all human machinery. I should be able to use it" replied Anna.

Retracing Our Steps

"Let's retrace our steps and use facts." continued Anna. "Uhm... What does the word 'retrace' mean? Asked Alex.                 WHAT DOES IT MEAN?          

"It means to remember what happened before to get the key details to help us do the things we need to do now." explained Anna. "Let's start!"

"So, let's begin when we first saw the meteor shower." began Anna. "We started seeing the meteor at home for 5 minutes. Then, remember, we saw a kind of rocket ship?" asked Anna. "Oh, now I remember!" replied Alex.

"I also saw a tiny piece of paper, and I think it is bigger now. Let's look around the spaceship and read the note." said Alex.

Anna and Alex looked around but could not find it. "It must have fallen." said Alex. But after looking inside, they found the note.

Here's what it says:

"I did not they were real." "Neither did I" replied Anna                                              

Dear other aliens, I came to get your fruit for my planet. My planet is drying up, and the other aliens are starving. I will come back soon. From: Bingly

The police officer made a speech to tell the people about the aliens. People were scared and afraid. They were all screaming and almost went to their cars to go home, but the police officers stopped them. 

The police officers explained to them that the alien's planet is drying up. When the people heard this, they felt sad for the aliens and their planet

                        7                        Mystery solved!

"Wait I might be able to put it all together!" said Alex. "I think you are getting the hang of space." said Anna.                                                                                                                       (Not actual order. It is just pictures of the planets)  Mars     Venus       Jupiter        Saturn         Earth       Moon                                                       

"Now, first, we saw the rocket ship, then we saw the shooting star fell; but, what if the alien did not mean to come here? Then, you gave the speech."

"When you took the speech, I saw something green, and it was moving! It kind of looked like this..." 

"Did you take a picture?" asked Anna. "Yes, I did!" said Alex

"It just looked cool".  added Alex.

They thought the alien was kind and they felt sorry for the alien and their planet. 

Anna and Alex were thinking that they should help the aliens.

                    8                       Bingly Bloop

When they explored the park, they found the alien. "Aahh!" screamed Alex, Anna and the police officer at once. 

"Aahh!" screamed the alien back at them.

The alien was bright green with glistening black eyes. His size was about a big book. He only had 3 fingers in each hand. 

The alien soon forgot his fear and introduced himself. "My name is Bingly Bloop; and my spaceship crashed here. I was supposed to get food for my planet, but my spaceship got hit by an asteroid. I got lost in this new planet."

"This planet is called Earth." replied the police officer. 

"My name is Alex, and I am 8 years old." said Alex.

"My name is Anna, and I am 9 years old." said Anna.

"Are you the ruler of your planet?" asked Anna. 

"No, I am not. I am a normal alien who lives in a big, dry planet called plant Gloop; so, that means that I am a Gloopian just like you are called earthlings." replied Bingly Bloop.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             PLANET GLOOP

                    9                       Off to Planet Gloop

"My planet is one hour away from here." said Bingly. "Can you please come to help save my planet?" begged Bingly.

"Maybe we should ask father because he is an astronaut." said Anna. 

Anna and Alex asked their parents and they said "yes"! So, Anna, Alex, and the police officer went into father's rocket. Father was the pilot. They blasted off to space.

The travel took exactly 1 hour. When they arrived, they were really surprised how planet Gloop looked like. 

Planet Gloop was really hot and had sand everywhere. There were no plants and all the other aliens looked like they were starving.

Luckily, Anna brought some food, just in case. 

Father and mother stayed inside the spaceship while Alex, Anna, the police officer, and Bingly went out. They fed the aliens until they were very full. The aliens explained that their enemies ripped all the beautiful plants and used their powers to dry up the whole planet. 

Just talking about it made the aliens sad. 

Chapter

                    10                       The Other Aliens

"These are the other aliens." said Bingly Bloop. 

The aliens looked just like Bingly but they were in different colours. Some of them were green like Bingly.

"The aliens that are the same colour are a family." said Bingly. "Here's my family".

Bingly's family members were in different shades of green. His mom was a darkish green, his dad was light green, and his siblings were the exact same shade of green as Bingly. They all looked very sad.

They are sad because their homes are gone.

"Here are my friends." said Bingly. "The blue one is Oop, the purple one is Patoo, the red one is Rilia, the orange is Oran, the pink one is Metta, and the yellow one is Tava".                                                                          They are happy because they see Bingly.

All of the aliens looked sad. Bingly explained that they were sad because their enemies destroyed all their homes. 

Their home were made up of the plants.

                    11                       Let's Go Explore

"Should I show you around?" asked Bingly. "Oh, yes please!" replied Anna and Alex at once. They were excited to see the rest of planet Gloop.

They went underground where there were lots of factories, with clouds of dark, grey smoke towering over them.

Anna, Alex, and the police officer saw lots of giant doors with signs on them.  Some of the signs look like this:

"You have a lot of factories." said Anna.

"Yes, we do." replied Bingly. "We hide underground from our enemies and battle above".

"I am more curious about the rainbow factory." said Anna. 

"It helps you find your colour if you are colourless." replied Bingly.

                    12                       Enemies Attack

Just as Bingly was talking, they heard lots of bangs! Lots of Gloopians came down looking very scared. The King said that their enemies were coming to fight. 

Bingly was brave; so, he told Alex, Anna, and the police officer to come with him and face their enemies.

When they went above ground, the Gloopian enemies had firebombs that shoot like a rocket!

Their enemies had round heads and skinny bodies. They were all light blue in colour and they were very angry indeed! The enemies were going to shoot their bombs!

"Why are they fighting?" asked the police officer.

"Because we took fruit from their plant. But we did not know it was theirs." replied Bingly.

They had to dodge the bombs which is a hard task when there are a lot of spaceships. At least the enemies were still getting ready for the fight. 

Anna had an idea of laying down pretending to be dead. But Alex, Bingly, and the police officer did not agree. 

No. That won't work.

Chapter

                    13                     Solution Comes

Then father, who was watching everything from his spaceship went outside with mother and said he had an idea!

"Do you have water?" asked father. "Yes." replied Bingly. 

"Well, how about we make waterbombs?" said father.

"That's a great idea! I will tell the other aliens to make waterbombs in their factories." replied the very excited Bingly.

So Bingly quickly went back to the underground factories and told the Gloopians the plan. And so, they started to make waterbombs.                                                                                                                             Factories that are making water bombs

Soon, the Gloopians had made exactly 3000 waterbombs. They were ready to fight back their enemies.

Some factories even made 100 water guns. 

And so, the Gloopians have a total of 3,100 weapons to defeat their enemies.

All of the Gloopians, including their King, came out to counterattack their enemies.
