This book is based on an actual event. My cousins and I thought it was fun while being loud, running around, and teasing our youngest cousin. When we heard the knocking we thought our grandma would let that person in but there was no one. We never played around like that again, because who knows what could've happen if we opened the door. So, listen to what your elders have to say when you experience something like this.
