Chapter 1
A Regular Day at School
Yehuda loved everything about second grade at Arie Crown Hebrew Day School. With his blond hair brushed perfectly to the side, he bounced into Mrs. Goldwater's classroom and slid into his seat right in front of Gavi B. Mrs. Goldwater was the best teacher in the whole world—she made learning fun, never yelled, and always had a smile ready when someone needed help with their math problems.
"Good morning, Yehuda!" Mrs. Goldwater called out cheerfully as she wrote the day's schedule on the board.
At snack time, Yehuda pulled out his favorite chewy granola bars from his lunchbox. He munched happily while Mrs. Goldwater read them a story about a mouse riding on a motorcycle. When recess finally came, Yehuda raced outside with his friends to the playground. The Chicago winter had left perfect white snow everywhere, and the boys immediately started a snowball fight.
"Take that!" Yehuda laughed, throwing a snowball that splattered right on the coat of Dovid, his older brother Eitan's friend. Dovid grinned and chased after him, and soon they were all running and laughing until the bell rang and they all went back inside.

Chapter 2:
Pesach is Coming!
The best part about this week wasn't just school, though. Pesach was coming! And that meant Bobby and Zidy were flying in from New York, along with all of Yehuda's cousins. But Zidy wasn't just any grandfather, everyone called him "Toy Zidy" because he always, always brought the most amazing presents for everyone.
At home that evening, the house was filled with music as his mother started serving tacos. Aviva, his oldest sister, was playing piano in the living room, while Leah, the middle child, was playing violin in the study. Eitan was in the den, blasting some Mordechai Shapiro music on the 24/6, while Yehuda and his baby sister Sara were dancing around. After everyone sat down to eat, Yehuda started telling his mother all about his day.
"Mommy," Yehuda said, "do you think Zidy will bring me a huge lego set this year? I really, really want the massive one—the one with ten thousand pieces! I could add it to my lego hotel!"
Yehuda's "lego hotel" was his pride and joy. It was a tower of clear storage boxes stacked high in his room, each one filled to the brim with colorful lego creations, sorted by color and size.
His mother smiled warmly. "We'll have to wait and see what Zidy brings, sweetheart. But remember, Pesach is about more than just presents."

"I know, I know," Yehuda said quickly. "It's about remembering how Hashem took Bnei Yisroel out of Mitzrayim and brought them across the Yam Suf by splitting the sea. But the afikomen present is still pretty great!"

Chapter 3:
Preparing for Pesach
When Pesach vacation finally arrived, the whole house had lots of activity. Yehuda helped his mother clean, carry boxes and wipe down shelves. Usually, he could only use the family iPad on Fridays and Sundays because of Arie Crown's Tech N' Check program, but during Pesach break, the rules relaxed a little, and Yehuda enjoyed some extra iPad time while his mother finished the deep cleaning with help from Ana, their cleaning helper.
The house sparkled and shined. Then came the cooking. The kitchen filled with the most delicious smells as Yehuda's mother prepared for yom tov. She made chicken soup and meat, kugels and salads, and best of all—her special French macarons. The delicate cookies came in every color of the rainbow, and they melted in your mouth like sweet, perfect clouds.
"Can I have one now?" Yehuda begged, eyeing the trays of macarons cooling on the counter.
"After the seder," his mother promised with a knowing smile.
Chapter Four:
Seder Night Arrives
Finally, seder night came. Bobby and Zidy arrived with hugs and kisses for everyone. Yehuda's cousins from New York tumbled through the door—including Yosef, who was exactly Yehuda's age. The dining room table stretched long and was covered in a beautiful white tablecloth and set with the special Pesach dishes.
Everyone took their seats, and Yehuda's father began leading the seder. They dipped the karpas in salt water, sang the Ma Nishtana and ate delicious crunchy matzah. Uncle Mark shared beautiful divrei torah that made everyone think deeply about the ten Makos Hashem did to the Mitzrim.
But as the seder went on and on, Yehuda felt his eyelids growing heavier and heavier. All the divrei torah said at the table were meaningful, but they were also very, very long. Yehuda tried to fight the sleepiness, but it was no use.
He stumbled to the living room couch and curled up under his big, comfy blue blanket, waiting for the afikomen. His eyes closed, just for a moment...

Chapter 5:
Mr. Beast Arrives!
Suddenly, Yehuda heard the roar of an engine outside. He jumped up and ran to the window. There, parked right in front of his Chicago house, was the brightest, shiniest red Lamborghini he had ever seen. And stepping out of it was... Mr. Beast!
"No way!" Yehuda gasped.
Mr. Beast walked right up to their front door and knocked. Yehuda's mother answered, looking just as surprised as Yehuda felt.
"Hello! I'm looking for Yehuda," Mr. Beast said with his famous smile. "I saw his picture in Circle Magazine—he was holding that incredible torah made entirely of Clicks! I could tell right away that this kid is an amazing builder, and I need his help."
"My help?" Yehuda squeaked.

"That's right! I'm doing a huge challenge video, and I need someone with serious building skills. What do you say, Yehuda? Want to come to Lake Geneva and help me build the biggest lego hotel the world has ever seen? You have three days to complete it!"
Yehuda looked at his mother, his eyes pleading. She smiled and nodded. "You can go, but be careful!"
So Mr. Beast arranged to pick up Yehuda the next morning, the first day of Chol Ha Moade. Yehuda couldn’t wait for the best Chol Ha Moade trip ever!
The next morning, Yehuda climbed into Me. Beast’s red Lamborghini, and they zoomed off toward Lake Geneva, the beautiful lake town not far from Chicago.

Chapter Six:
Building Alone
When they arrived, Mr. Beast showed Yehuda the huge pile of legos waiting for him. There were millions of pieces in every color and every size.
"You've got three days to build the most amazing lego hotel ever," Mr. Beast explained. "A very special guest is coming to see it, so it has to be perfect!"
Yehuda got to work right away. He built and built, snapping pieces together, creating walls and windows, doors and hallways.
But as the hours passed, he realized something terrible: he wasn't going to finish in time. The hotel needed to be enormous, and he was just one kid.
"I need help," Yehuda said, pulling out the flip phone he borrowed from Aviva. He called his cousins. "Hey, can you guys come help me build this lego hotel?"
But his cousins didn't want to help. "Why should we help you?" they said, "you never share your legos with us."
He called his siblings. "Eitan? Aviva? Leah? Can you help?"
"Remember when we wanted to play with your new lego set and you said no?" His brothers and sisters reminded him. "Sorry, Yehuda."
One by one, everyone said no. Yehuda felt a lump in his throat, but he was determined.
"Fine," he said. "I'll do it myself!"
He built and built, higher and higher. But soon the hotel grew so tall that he couldn't reach the top anymore, even standing on his tiptoes.
"I have just the thing!" Mr. Beast said, pulling out a piece of bright pink bubblegum. "This is magic bubblegum. When you blow a bubble, you'll float in the air!"
Yehuda popped the gum in his mouth and blew. A huge bubble formed, and suddenly his feet lifted off the ground! He floated up, up, up, and continued building the top floors of the hotel. It was amazing!
