Liz and their family are headed to their grandparent's farmhouse. 

At their farm, they have 1 donkey, 3 dogs, 2 sheep and 1 cow. Can you find them all?

At their grandparent's house, Liz likes to help Granny in the garden.

Granny and Papaw also have a big garden at their farm!

Granny grows lots of plants and vegetables in her garden.

She lets Liz pick some vegetables for dinner tonight but tells them not to pick from the big green plant at the edge of the garden.

Even though Granny told them not to, Liz really wanted to pick from the big green plant at the edge of the garden. 

Maybe if they took just one leaf while Granny wasn't looking...

As soon as Liz reached towards the leaf, Granny came back around the corner.

"Stop!" she said, "I told you to pick from any plant except that one, why would you do exactly what I told you not to?" 

Granny sent Liz straight to time out. 

Liz didn't understand why their granny was so upset

Liz knew that they should have listened to Granny but did not know why picking this plant was such a big deal. 

Liz picks from Granny's garden all the time. Why was this plant different?

Confused, Liz went to their mom to ask why Granny was so upset.

Liz's mom explained that this plant was special to Granny because it belonged to Granny's mom.

Granny missed her mom and this plant reminded Granny of her.
