It was May 1962 when the worlds greatest escape happened. The escape which is still remembered all across the world.

Three men, Frank Morris and brothers John and Clarance Anglin made a plan to escape the worlds most inescapable prison, Alcatraz.

Over the next six days, the three men were planning how to make the escape as they secretly collected useful materials from all around the prison.

The men collected things like concrete powder, toilet paper, a nail cutter, fork and hair from the barbershop floor.

As the nights fell silent, the three men would plan their escape. They would use their materials to dig a hole through the metal grill and make dummy heads to fool the guards .
