Danny, the tiny chick, worked hard to make it out of the shell she was stuck in. As she hops into the light, she sees herself surrounded by other little chicks like her and one big shadow looming over them all. She feels safe when she looks at this shadow and realizes that it is her mother. Danny decides that this is going to be the start of a wonderful and exciting journey.
"Make sure you are careful Danny!" Her mother exclaimed, "The other chickens may not like you, I want you back in here after you take a peek out."
"I'll be careful! I am just going to take a peek around the place!" Danny assured her mom. She plucks up the courage and takes a hop into the world and is met with new experiences at every corner.

As Danny hops out, she notices that her home is surrounded by some weird type of force field. Lucky for her, there's an opening in the big wooden box she is in , and she manages to hop through and makes her way down. She sees that her home has different areas to it. The box she was born in has a stair leading up to it. She watches as the chickens walk into it. Just as Danny is about to go back inside to her mother, she hears loud squawking outside of the force field. She braves leaving the forcefield and finds big hens bullying one of her siblings!
"You don't stand a chance against us!" Shouted the gray hen.
"You are just a little weakling!" Exclaimed the black hen.
"Please! I just want to go back to my mom!" The tiny chick whimpered.
Danny couldn't stand it any longer! She would not allow her sibling to be bullied! Danny steps up to the rude chickens and tries to chase them off, but they turn on Danny and start bullying and pecking at her too! She sees her sibling slip away back into the big wooden box.
"Who do you think you are telling us what to do!" The white hen yelled.
"You need to learn who runs this place, little girl!" They all exclaimed.

"Didn't your mother warn you about us? You should really watch your back tail feathers around us!" The gray hen threatened.
"I couldn't let you guys hurt my sibling! What is your problem with us?" Danny questioned. The hens looked at each other before confirming their response.
"You are new and small, we have every right to make fun of you. We are older and stronger, making us better than you." They all explained.
Just as Danny was about to make a comeback, she heard a familiar voice cry out to her, and heard frantic thumps coming up behind her.
"I thought I told you to come back right away! What are you doing out here by yourself? Now look at the mess you got into!" Danny realizes this was her mother's voice and immediately feels relieved.
"You all need to backoff my little chick! You have no right to corner her like this!" Mother hen exclaimed.
"You win for now, but be watching your back around here!" The hens exclaimed as they waddled away to find their next victim. Danny watches, and is interrupted by her mother asking if she wants some food to which Danny nods.

"Because you are just a new little chick, I will teach you what you can and cannot eat, as well as how to find food. First, you need to scratch at the ground and use your little beak to peck around." Mother hen explained. Danny gave it a try but didn't find anything. She kept trying and trying until she came up with something. It crunched and squirted some type of juice. Danny got really excited and kept going until she felt full.
"You can eat almost any bug that you find in the ground, as well as some really tiny, pesky mice that run around here and eat our food. Sometimes the farmer comes around and gives us some scratch and mealworms that we feast on. My personal favorite thing to find is worms that wiggle around in the ground." Mother hen stated. Danny suddenly got really excited about all the yummy food she was going to try later on. All of a sudden, she heard commotion happening back towards the coop she called her home. It sounded like the chickens were running around frantically and yelling for help. Danny instinctively felt that she needed to go and protect the others, so she left her mom behind and started sprinting back towards the coop.
