The bright vibrant sun stood awake in the clear but translucent looking blue sky, calling for everyone to wake up, for the farmers to begin their summer harvest. Birds chirped, awakening and forcing Farmer Ash up, opening his eyes. The blinding eye-scorching sunlight that seeped through the crystal clear window bounced right off Farmer Ash’s eyes, engulfing his sleepiness.

As he stood up and leaned out of the window seeing the majestic views, an enormous shadow was casted in the horizons, where his batch of watermelons were meant to be. His brain clicked into place and only one thing came up in his mind. BEAR! As Ash ran out, all he could think about was a tall brown creature, munching on his fresh watermelons, red juice soaking the grass and a devastating farming ground clear and empty. A vacant hole in Farmer Ash’s heart began to be created, like a slick, clean gunshot hitting it’s target perfectly, precision the only clear thing visible.

To Farmer Ash’s surprise, the so called “bear” was not a bear at all. In it’s place was a huge, massive, and ripe green ball, striped with dark green lines sectioning the circular object, accurately, reminding the farmer of when a chef cuts a cake. In place of the shot-out piece of heart in Farmer Ash’s heart was a forming piece of gold, That huge thing was none other than his own watermelon. His watermelon.
The gigantic, bulky thing stood out like a neon blue flower collected in the middle of a bunch of white flowers. Just the sight of that thing would drive one mad with excitement and joy. As Farmer Ash stood there, staring awestruck at the enormous fruit, he thought he heard the breeze say to collect his prize, his token resembling hard-work, and a caring personality. As Farmer Ash heaved the giant watermelon up, he noticed that it didn’t budge. The weight of the thing was so heavy, that he was pushed back, tripping on an apple-tree root and scrapping his knee. Another long but thin cut was merely on his hand, pure red blood dripping down.
