On September 11, 2001 a Islamic terrorist 

group al-Qaeda attacked the World Trade 

Center, South and North tower in the New York 

City and the Washington, D.C.,in the United 

States of America. Many were killed but a few 

survived. This is the story of two of the 

survivors.

Timmy was playing Lego's beside his mom who 

was an employee in the world trade center. 

Everything seemed fine until a loud airplane 

noise occurred. Everyone was confused and 

looked out to the window.

In the sky, there was a big flying object 

coming towards the twin towers. As it got 

closer. it was clear that that was a huge 

airplane, and was gonna crush into the towers 

and the people in it would be killed. The police 

was alerted and was coming on there way as 

fast as they could.

Everyone was freaked out. Some ran into the 

elevator hoping that it could take them down 

faster. Some jumped out of the window 

without thinking what would happen. Some, 

like Timmy and his mom, ran towards the 

emergency exit and used the stairs there to 

get down.

Unfortunately the plane was way too fast to 

avoid. Timmy and the rest of the people were 

lucky. They were on the other side of the 

tower so the explosion did not hit them. They 

have had also already ran down a couple of 

floors which increased their chance of 

surviving.
