A long time ago, there lived...not too far back! In more modern times, there lived a boy named Colin Martins. Colin was the first of four siblings raised by a loving mother and father. The Martins specialized in DNA and were highlight succesful. They loved their children, but they always wanted them to follow in their footsteps in the DNA field. Unfortunately, Colin was not interested in things as simple as DNA. Baseball was his passion, and he dreamed of becoming a successful player.
As you can guess, the Martins were estacited. Colin could begin his career pathway early, and it could be a great start for him. On the first day before school, Mrs. Martins looked Colin in the eye and told him something he would always remember."Biology is a life science, but it's more than that. People are built based off of sceince, and without it we wouldn't be here." He decided to give it a chance if his mother really believed in him.
Chapter Two
Colin entered the biology room and sat down at a desk next to Grayden and Max, two of his best friends. They were talking eagerly when Ms. Busley entered the room.
"Good morning, students! I'm so excited to start your journey in the biology world! Please focus your eyes on me."

But Grayden and Max wouldn't stop talking until Ms. Busley lost he patience and slammed her high heeled shoes down.
She yelled, "All three of you get out of here and go to the principal'ss office!"
Colin was feeling frustrated that she accuseded him but he left with his friends to head to the principal, Mr. Kent's office. Now he knew he would never like biology because of Ms. Busley.

Colin was heading home from school when suddenly he heard a noise. He looked down and saw a little DNA nucletoide smiling up at him. Then everything went black.
When Colin woke up he was in a dark space surronded by green, blue, red, yellow, and red nucleotides and suddenly one came up to him.
It was the color blue and it said, "Welcome to the nucleus Mr. Campbell! Us nucleotides heard about your bad experience in bilogy but we want to make everything right again."
"Why yours! We love making you who you are Colin and we want to show you around so you can understand what we all do."
"What your name nucleotide?
"I'm Gaunine but everyone calles me Gina. Let me tell you bit about myself. I'm a nucleotide so I have a phosphate, sugar, and I have a nitrogen base of G. My friend Cytosine is somewhere around here."
Suddenly another nucleotide popped up out of nowhere and that caused Gina to smile.
"Cyto! It's so good to see you my base pairing friend!"
Colin said, "I'm confused. How does base pairing work?"
"I'm glad you asked! Cyto where are you!"

Suddenly, a purple nucleotide came out of nowhere and came to float next to Colin and Gina.
"Hi I'm Cyto! Base pairing is simple. In DnA Replication G paris with C and T pairs with A. Myself and Gina are very good friends."
Then Gina said, "But in transcription and translation myself and Cyto still pair but instead of A with T, A pairs with U! It's all very fastaniting!"
"Come on Colin! Let's check out Replication!"
Chapter Four:
Soon Colin walked with Gina and Cyto into the heart of the nucleus and saw the different nucleotides forming together, splitting, then forming together again.
Cyto said, "DNA Replication is awesome because it allows each daughter cell to recieve a copy of identical set of chromosomes. Kind of like how you need an identical pair of shoes. "
"But like all people some special friends are needed to see this process through. The enzymes! Some special enzymes. Let's go meet them!"
Suddelyn five colorful blobs came towards the group with smiles.
A blob came to shake Colin's hand and said, "Hi my name's Helicase! I unzip the DNA strand. Kind of like when you need to unzip a jacket."
Another blob with a michevouse smile said, "I'm primase! Without me synthesis wouldn't occur as I add RNA primers."
"What's synthesis?"
"It's how a cell combines different things to make the DNA strand."
