The Orestiada Townhall

is where the elected city council governed by the Mayor of the town meets to address all issues that concern the citizens. It reflects the value of Democracy

Our town's District Court is the place were all citizens may address if they are wronged and want justice. It is a symbol of equality and justice for all.

It reflects the value of solidarity, inclusion and equal rights.

Europe Direct is a European information network designated by the European Commission. The target group is all citizens of the European Union. 

The main aim of Europe Direct is to provide European citizens with general information on the European Union. Other aims include the answering of questions on political activities of the European Union and promoting European integration. Advice and practical tips on rights entitled to Union citizens are provided.

In our town, the Europe Direct office is in the premises of the University of Thrace and it's chief officer Ms Alexandra Touloumpa, visited us to talk about the rights of every European citizen, and the institutions reflecting EU values.
