This is the ”Costache Negrutzzi” Library. It's located close to our school, and accessible to students of all ages, allowing them to make free subscriptions and borrow books for a certain amount of time. Over the years, the students from our school have been trusted customers, as this library is inclusive and has all sorts of books, that help them with school or fulfilling their passion for lecture.
Costache Negruzzi (1808–1868) was an important Romanian writer and politician. He is considered one of the founders of modern Romanian literature.
The concept of this library was to help with education among Romanian students and it evidentiates our right to education. It promotes culture and literature and equal access to knowledge.

This picture shows a community center that allows all kinds of people of any age to have a place where they can socialize, read and play board games. It was built to create a safe and fun place, having social assistance, debates, exhibitions and therapy. It is located in Bucharest, district no. 2, not far from our school.
Murals in our neighbourhood

The mural shows cooperation through the bee-like creatures working together among different plants, just like bees work in a hive. It seems they do teamwork to achieve something good.

The mural shows peace through the calm scene of the girls standing together in nature and holding flowers. They show kindness and friendship between people.

The mural shows creativity and imagination.

Our school mural shows aligned books and crayons with small people in it, with a text above saying “We learn today for tomorrow.” The human figures show how we are guided, surrounded and live in education. With our school’s support, it grows inside of us. (to represent the human living in a book) The words in a different language show how culturally capable humans can get if we gain information and exercise it, (which is why the books and crayons are shown, they are instruments of work). And the quote on top of the small “world” tells us how we grow “today” which means in our school years, and “for tomorrow” so we as adults can make the right decisions and choose or create a better future for the tomorrow children.
