Project Teachers

This international collaborative book was prepared as a student product under the guidance and leadership of the following teachers from different European countries:

This book has been created through the active participation of students, under the mentorship and coordination of the teachers listed above.

Different but Together

We may speak different languages, live in different countries, and grow up in different cultures,

 yet we share the same feelings, values, and hopes.

This story was written by children who believe that differences make us stronger and that being together makes us better.

 Through empathy, kindness, and cooperation, they discovered that being different is beautiful—and being together is powerful.

Welcome to a story where every difference matters and every voice belongs.

Different           but Together!

My name is BLUE . I am a small planet floating quietly in space. Around me, there are many other planets, and all of them are different. Some are bright, some are dark, and some are very far away. I watch them from a distance and think a lot. Being different sometimes makes me feel curious, sometimes a little unsure. I wonder if differences always keep us apart, or if they can bring us closer. I do not know the answer yet, but I feel that something new may happen soon…

HELLOOO!!!!

But one day a meteorite came very fast.

-BLUE: What is that?

-ANOTHER PLANET: I think it's a meteorite.

-BLUE: I don't think so.

The meteorite crashes.

-ALL THE PLANETS: Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!

-NARRATOR: The planets wake up but this is not a meteorite.

-BLUE: This is not a meteorite. It's another planet! Wow! It's so strange.

-THE PLANET: Hello!

-BLUE: I think that this planet is so kind.

 PLANET: I am very happy to meet you! I have been looking for someone friendly in this galaxy for a long time

BLUE: You are exactly what I wanted to meet. A planet eager for new friends and adventures!

And through the great galaxy the adventure of the two planets begins. Together they are braver, more confident and so they set off to discover what they did not dare to explore alone until now.

BLUE: Wow! How wonderful it is to travel with a friend!

So, Blue and the Planet glided through space. They admired the stars and had fun wandering around when Blue realised that he didn’t know the name of his new friend.

BLUE: What’s your name, my friend?

PLANET: My name is RAINBOW.

BLUE: Wow! What a beautiful name!

But suddenly, there was a new challenge for the two friends. They met another planet on their way, RED was his name.

RED: Hello! I am bigger than you and I want to be your leader and guide you.

BLUE: How irritating! We don’t need a boss. I will call Green, which is a strong planet so that we can throw Red out of the galaxy! Greeeennnn!!!

And so it happens and Green comes closer.

RAINBOW: Calm down! We just need to tell Red that we are different but we can be together in harmony too. Red!!!

RED: Yes???

RAINBOW: We are all planets, right?

RED: Yes, …

RAINBOW: And we all live in space …

RED: Right!

RAINBOW: So, let’s all be together without any quarrel.

GREEN: Exactly! We are not the same and that makes us unique! We all make space more beautiful!

RED: Well, can I be your friend, then?

RAINBOW, BLUE and GREEN (in one voice): Of course!

And they all continued their journey calmly and happily… Suddenly, space had become more colourful!

Suddenly, a meteor fell right into the middle of space. Yes, it was a real meteor!

Rainbow, Blue, and Green looked at each other. They thought a new friend had arrived, but it wasn't. They didn't know what to do. 

At that moment,

BLUE: Dear friends, where is Red?

GREEN: He was just with us.

RAINBOW: Oh no! Red is lost.

They all started looking for Red. They were very scared that something had happened to Red. On the way, they met someone. This person they met was Orange. The three friends introduced themselves to Orange and told him they could be friends.

After becoming friends with Orange, they told him about the meteor. At that moment,

GREEN: Orange, we have a friend. His name is Red. We lost him after the meteor fell. When we first met, we didn't get along with Red, but then we grew very fond of him. Now we want to find our friend whom we love so much. We are very strong and very happy when we are together. We can only make this space beautiful when we are all together. Can you help us?

Orange looked at them kindly.

ORANGE: Of course, I will help you.

Blue, Rainbow and Green felt hopeful. Together, they continued searching for Red.

Suddenly, they heard a strange laugh. In front of them, a huge Black Hole appeared.

BLUE: Did you swallow Red?

BLACK HOLE: Yes…Because I look dark and scary, nobody wants to be my friend. So I took Red with me so I wouldn’t feel lonely.

The Black Hole swallowed Orange too, but it dropped a shining golden key.

BLUE: Maybe this key can save them!

At that moment, a strong electric wave passed through them. Blue could teleport. Green became very strong. Rainbow could turn invisible.

They worked together. Blue teleported near the Black Hole. Green stopped it. Invisible Rainbow used the key.

A bright light filled space — and Red and Orange were free!

But Orange looked quiet.

ORANGE: When the meteor hit, I changed. I was afraid you wouldn’t accept me.

An old planet appeared. It was Sage Purple.

SAGE PURPLE: Sometimes change helps us grow.

RAINBOW: We are different, and that makes us stronger together.

ORANGE: There is a dangerous asteroid passage ahead. But I know someone who can help us. His name is Gold.

They found Gold, the bright star. With his light, they crossed the asteroid passage safely.

Red was stronger now. Blue’s tears fell again — but this time from happiness.

They smiled.
