Delfino

Dolphins are wideaspread throughout the world, especially in shallo waters in coastal areas,  and estuaries and some of dolphins bays and estuaries and some of dolphins spend their entire lives far from land in deep offshore waters.

Species like the Spinner dolphin and Spotted dolphin thrive in equatorial regions but the many dolphins, including the common Bottlenose dolphin, frequent shallow coastal areas.

Seahorse

 It allows seahorses to feed effectively on small organisms such as plankton, tiny crustaceans like copepods and shrimps, and even small fish.

INTERESTING FACTS

Seahorse lives in Mediterranean Sea, Sea of Marmara, Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean (Taylan Deniz, Kerem, teacher Esen GÜR).

Despite their exotic look, seahorses breathe through gills, just like other fish. However, they have a very small, two-chambered heart that beats extremely fast to support their high metabolism.They are incredible ambush predators. Since they are slow swimmers, they use their long snouts like a vacuum. When prey passes by, they rapidly rotate their heads (a pivot motion) and suck the victim in so fast that the prey has no time to react.Many species are monogamous (at least for a single breeding season). Their daily "greeting" ritual, where they intertwine tails and dance, is essential for synchronizing the partners' reproductive cycles.

Cosa mangiano?

Octopus

Octopuses live in the ocean, but they can be found in many different types of marine environments. Here are the main places where they live:

 This is their favorite food. They love crabs, lobsters, and shrimp and they use their strong beaks to crack open clams, oysters, snails, and scallops but sometimes eat squid or even other octopuses.

Interesting Facts About Octopus

Octopus has three hearts and blue blood. Its body is flexible. Most of its brain is located in its arms. It is the most intelligent invertebrate. Instantaneous color changes allow it to camouflage itself. (Edip Emre, teacher Esen GÜR)

Seal, any of 32 species of web-footed aquatic mammals that live chiefly in cold seas.

Le foche sono carnivore opportuniste, il che significa che generalmente mangiano qualsiasi tipo di carne. I loro cibi preferiti sono pesci, calamari e crostacei.
