There once was a young puppy named Maddy. Shelly was Maddy's owner. Shelly taught Maddy tricks and always played with her. When Maddy grew up, Shelly did not even pet Maddy anymore.

Maddy was tired of her owner not teaching her new tricks, and not playing with her anymore.Maddy cried, "I am going to run away!." So, she left the house and ran to the forest.

Maddy ran and ran until she finally reached the forest. She had never been it before. It looked like a normal forest, smelledlike a normal forest, and felt like a normal forest, but then a small bird flew up and said, "Welcome to Fairy Tale Land! My
name is Honey. What brings you to my land?." A tear rolled down Maddy's cheek. "My owner does not play with me anymore,
so I ran away." The yellow bird frowned. "You need an owner! Every dog needs someone to love, and take care of them. Follow
me, we are going to find you a new owner!"

Honey led the way to Hansel and Gretel's ginger bread house. "Hello Honey! Who is your friend?," asked Hansel. "This is Maddy,"
Honey explained, "She is looking for a new owner." "Sorry we can not
help you, we have a kitten named Boots, and kittens and dogs do not
get along."

Maddy and Honey went to the Three Little Bears home. "Bears, we need your help! Maddy needs a new owner. She is very soft and playful! You could play with her all
day, Little Bear!," Honey said happily. "No way!," cried the little bear, "Last time some
one came into my home they ate my porridge and slept in my bed! I do not want a
dog!"

Honey and Maddy wandered to Little Red Riding Hood's Grandma's house. "Hello Little Red,I am Maddy." "We are trying to find Maddy someone to live with because she ran away from home," said
Honey. "Well she can not stay here!," cried Grandma, "After the wolf came to my home and tricked my
sweet Granddaughter, no animals are welcome here ever again!"

8

"No body wants an old dog," Maddy sniffled, "I am never going to find anyone who loves me!" Just then, a cry came from within the brick house. "Let's go see what's going
on in there!," yelled Honey.
Help! Help! Help!

9

Inside the house The Three Little Pigs had a boiling pot of water, and the screams werecoming from the wolf inside! Maddy and Honey ran in to see the pigs carrying water to
the pot. The wolf climbed out and started to run away!

"Oh no!," yelled the first little pig. "Don't let it get away!," the second one cried. "It will blow down more houses!," the third pig screamed. "Don't worry I can catch him," said Maddy, "Shelly used to
take me for runs all the time!"
