It's the first day of school! This morning, Jeanne woke up feeling ecstatic! "I cannot wait to go to school today," Jeanne said. "Je dois me preparer!" ("I need to prepare.")

So, she quickly ate her breakfast, said "au revoir" to Colleen and headed out the door.

Jeanne walked confidently to school that morning. She knew exactly where to go! The sun was shining, the birds were singing and the weather was perfect! This is the perfect day to start the school year.  

"Me voici!" Jeanne exclaimed as she approached the school. She is here!

After entering the classroom, Jeanne sat down quietly and got herself situated. While seated, Jeanne took out her pencil and notebook and waited for instructions.

Because she is new, Jeanne was asked to introduce herself to the class. 

"Bonjour everyone, je m'appelle Jeanne! I am from France!

As the day continued, Jeanne was quick to make friends. Olivia and Joy were two of them!

Together, the trio had a wonderful friendship that would last them what will seem like forever. 

They played games together, did art projects and saw each other every day at school. The girls were inseparable.
