Jarad Higgins sat back in his chair, staring at the screen in front of him. The studio lights were dim, and for once, everything was quiet. No beats playing. No voices in the background. Just silence.
He adjusted his headphones and sighed.
"I need something different tonight," he said to himself.
He scrolled through his computer, passing music files, recordings, and unfinished ideas—until something random caught his eye.
Minecraft.
He had heard about it for years. People always talked
about it. Building, surviving, creating entire worlds.
But he had never really tried it.
"Why not?" he muttered.
He clicked Create New World.
The screen faded to black.
Then slowly—light returned.
A bright sky stretched above him, filled with square-shaped clouds drifting lazily across the horizon. Tall trees surrounded him, their leaves rustling softly in the wind. A river sparkled nearby, reflecting the sunlight in a way that felt almost peaceful.
The music played gently in the background.
Juice blinked.
"Yo… this is actually kinda beautiful."
He moved forward slowly, taking it all in. There was no pressure here. No expectations. Just a world waiting for him.
He walked up to a tree and punched it.
Pop.
A block broke apart.
He paused.
Then laughed.
"I’m really punching trees right now… alright."
He kept going, collecting wood, learning as he went. It felt simple—but also new.
For the first time in a while, his mind felt clear.
"Let’s see where this goes," he said.
And just like that, his journey began.
Time passed quickly as Juice explored.
Too quickly.
He didn’t notice the sun beginning to fall until the sky turned orange.
"Wait… hold up…"
The light faded faster than he expected.
Orange turned to red.
Red turned to darkness.
A message appeared on the screen.
Monsters spawn at night.
"Nah… I’m not ready for that."
He panicked.
He ran around, collecting wood, trying to remember what he saw earlier.
"Okay—planks… crafting… something like that…"
His movements were rushed, messy.
But eventually—
a crafting table.
"Okay, okay… we getting somewhere."
But night had already fallen.
Strange sounds filled the air.
Low groans.
Distant footsteps.
Juice quickly built a small wooden shack. It wasn’t pretty. The walls were uneven, and the roof barely covered him—but it was enough.
He got inside and sealed the door.
Then—
a groan.
Right outside.
A zombie.
"Oh nah…"
Scratching hit the door.
Then another sound joined.
Then another.
Juice backed into the corner.
"Why are there so many?!"
The sounds didn’t stop.
Minutes felt like hours as he sat there, listening, waiting, hoping the door wouldn’t break.
Then slowly…
The sounds faded.
Light crept through the cracks.
Morning.
Juice opened the door carefully.
The world was calm again.
Peaceful.
Like nothing had happened.
He stepped outside and took a deep breath.
"I survived my first night…"
He smiled.
"Okay… I’m starting to understand this game."
The next day felt different.
Juice wasn’t as nervous anymore.
He had survived once.
Now he felt ready.
Or at least—he thought he was.
As he explored further, he heard a familiar sound.
A groan.
He turned.
A zombie.
"Alright… let’s do this."
He stepped forward and swung his sword.
He missed.
The zombie hit him.
"Okay—wait—"
Another zombie appeared.
Then another.
"Oh nah—this not fair!"
He backed up quickly, trying to stay calm.
"Think… just think…"
He timed his swings better.
Hit.
Hit.
One zombie fell.
Then another.
His health dropped low.
"I can’t mess this up…"
The last zombie came at him.
Juice stepped forward.
Swung.
And won.
Silence.
He stood there, breathing heavily.
"That was crazy…"
Then he smiled.
"But I handled it."
He wasn’t just surviving anymore.
He was improving.
Later that day, Juice found something new.
A cave.
Its entrance was dark, stretching deep into the ground.
"This looks like a bad idea…"
He paused.
Then smiled.
"So I’m going in."
He crafted torches and stepped inside.
The cave was quiet—but not peaceful.
Every sound echoed.
Every step felt louder.
He mined stone, gathering materials.
Then iron.
"Okay… this is useful."
Suddenly—
a skeleton appeared.
An arrow flew past him.
"WOAH!"
He dodged and fought back.
It wasn’t easy.
But he won.
Barely.
"Yeah… caves are different."
Still—he kept going.
Because deeper down…
there was always something better.
Juice mined deeper than ever before.
The cave stretched endlessly.
Stone turned into rare materials.
Time passed.
Then—
he saw it.
A faint blue glow.
"No way…"
He moved closer.
Diamonds.
Real diamonds.
He carefully mined them.
Each one felt important.
"This is what it’s about…"
He held them in his inventory, staring.
"All that work… and now this."
It felt like more than just a game.
It felt real.
Back on the surface, Juice started building.
Not just a shack.
Something bigger.
Stronger.
He expanded his home.
Added windows.
Rooms.
Storage.
"This my place now."
He organized everything carefully.
Every block had a purpose.
"We living good now."
With obsidian collected, Juice built a portal.
He lit it.
Purple energy swirled.
"This feels risky…"
He stepped through.
Everything changed.
The air felt heavy.
Lava stretched everywhere.
Creatures moved in the distance.
"Yeah… I don’t like this place."
A ghast screamed.
Fire exploded nearby.
"RUN!"
But he didn’t leave.
He adapted.
He survived.
Back home, Juice upgraded everything.
Diamond armor.
Better tools.
More confidence.
"I’m ready now."
He wasn’t scared anymore.
He was prepared.
The final challenge awaited.
Juice found the stronghold.
Activated the portal.
Jumped in.
The End was silent.
Then—
The dragon appeared.
"Let’s finish this."
The battle was intense.
But he didn’t give up.
Final shot—
Victory.
Back in his world, Juice looked around.
Everything he built.
Everything he survived.
"This wasn’t just a game…"
He smiled.
And clicked Create New World again.
Because every ending…
is just the start of something new.
