   Edis and Melis were two siblings who loved each other very much.

They were very excited to go on vacation together.

They packed their suitcases with their mother.

    Everything was ready..

    At that moment, our hero Güçlü arrived and said,

"Didn't you forget something, children?"

    Edis and Melis immediately ran to their mother and father and said,

"Thank you, Mommy, thank you, Daddy."

    They hugged each other and ran to get their suitcases. As they left, Güçlü smiled at them and congratulated them.They took their suitcases to the car. Edis andMelis helped their father put the suitcases in the trunk.

    As Edis handed his suitcase to his father, it slipped from his hand and fell onto Melis's foot.Edis said, "I'm sorry Melis, are you alright?"

Melis replied, "I'm fine, brother, it just hurt a little,"

and smiled. They put the suitcases in the car and set off.

    They went to the sea to visit their grandmother,

who said, "Welcome." Edis and Melis entered the house without greeting her.

    They immediately started unpacking their suitcases.

Güçlü came into the room.

"Children, it was very wrong of you not to greet your grandmother," he said.

    The children looked at each other and went to their grandmother.  They hugged their grandmother and said, "Welcome, Grandma!"

After Edis and Melis had put their suitcases away, there was a knock at the door. Their smiling grandfather came in. They immediately ran to him, said, “Welcome, Grandpa!” and hugged him.

    Edis and Melis were very hungry because they had come a long way. They set the table with their grandmother and grandfather, chatted, and ate their meal. Once Edis and Melis were full, they got up from the table. Just then, our hero Güçlü arrived and, looking at the two siblings, reminded them, “Didn’t you forget to say something, kids?” Edis and Melis said, “Thank you, Grandma, the food was delicious.” Their grandmother replied, “Enjoy your meal, kids.” Their grandfather smiled too. They cleared the table together.

    The next morning, they all went for a walk by the seaside together. The sea air made everyone feel wonderful. As they were walking, they saw an uncle working in the park, taking care of the flowers and clearing the fallen leaves.     He looked very tired under the sun. Edis and Melis looked at each other and smiled. Just as they were passing by him, they said cheerfully, "May your work be easy, uncle!                                  (Malıhıdırlı primery school 4/A)

    On the way home, Melis’s shoelaces came undone. Since her hands were full, she couldn't tie them herself. Edis immediately knelt down to help his sister and tied her laces tightly. Because her hands were so full, Melis forgot to say thank you.

    Seeing this, Güçlü tapped his staff (his sword) on the ground and reminded her, saying, “Didn't you forget something, Melis?” Melis then smiled and said, “Thank you so much, Edis!”

    Edis gave a gentle smile and replied, “You’re welcome, sister!” Güçlü smiled at the children and gave them a wink. Melis nodded and gave her father a big hug.
