Once upon a time in a magical forest, there lived a bunny named Peter

"Oh Peter!" Said Mommy as she packed his backpack for his first day of school. "Where are you?" Mommy sighed as she spotted two little ears poking out from behind the tablecloth.

"There you are, you silly bug!" Peter came out from under the table slowly, his eyes on the ground. "I don't want to go to school," said Peter.

"Well, it is quite a big step for such a small rabbit, but I know that your first day will be great," said Mommy.

Later that night, Mommy sat down to say goodnight to Peter. “Peter, I love you more than all the stars in the sky.” “I love you too, Mommy.” Said Peter, kissing her on the cheek.

But Peter had other plans. He grabbed his explorer’s hat and set off into the woods.

But it got foggy fast. Instead of having a great big fun camping trip, Peter got very scared. 

The trees looked like monsters, and there were strange, spooky sounds coming from the bushes.

He moved to an open field where he could see the stars and no longer heard the noises. Peter put up his hammock and fell asleep.

The next morning, Peter was woken up by a big kid passing by. They saw his explorer hat and called him over. “Hey, are you lost?” they said with worry in their voices.

“Yes,” said Peter slowly, “I can’t find my way home.” “Don’t worry,” said the kid, “We can help you!” On the way to Peter’s burrow, Peter told the kid that he was worried to go to Forest Elementary. He told them he was going to first grade.
