“No! We can’t go in there, its off limits. Do you know 

how much trouble I will get in if my dad finds out that 

I let you two in his laboratory?” Georgia yells to Molly 

and Olivia. Georgia's dad is a scientist and they had to 

move to Colorado when she was 4 months old. 

“Oh he isn't going to find out” says Molly. The three 

girls have known each other their whole life. They 

were inseparable ever since they shared a blanket in 

daycare. 

While Molly and Olivia were searching around the lab 

they found something they had never seen before. It 

was some type of machine, but it was different. “Wow 

look at this Georgia” says Olivia. She walks in to find 

Molly and Olivia hovering around the machine. “What 

the heck is that Georgia?" asks Molly. “I uh have no 

idea.” The girls stare at the bulky machine like it’s 

been sent down from outer space. 

They started pushing buttons when Georgia finds the 

start button.“Guys look!” she says while climbing in. 

“Your not seriously getting in there are you?” Molly 

said nervously. “Yes but we can’t turn anything on.” 

So they go in and start pretending that they are 

traveling in outer space and messing around. They 

were laughing and pushing each other when Georgia 

was pushed into the start button and moved around the 

dials.

They were silent for a moment and it just 

BOOM...they are moving through the time 

continuum. “AHHHH they all scream as they were 

passing through   2075, 3053, and stopped in 4006. 

The big machine fell out of the sky and on the ground. 

“Where are we?” Olivia stammered looking up at a big 

volcano. The girls looked around the time machine and 

looked at the dials it said that they have transported to 

Hawaii, and the date was March 28th 4096. “OH MY 

GOSH. We traveled into the future.” Georgia said. “It 

looks like this thing is out of gas, but we have to stay 

calm. Okay?” Molly said trying to convince them that 

it wasn't the end of the world. “Okay.” They said. 

After about 15 minutes of deciding what to do they 

finally got out and searched their surroundings. They 

were walking around the volcano when they walked 

up to large purple thing on a rock. “Ewww what is 

that.” Georgia said in a nasty tone. They didn't say 

anything so it was quiet for a while, but then a little 

voice said “hey can you stop staring at me, I'm trying 

to get some sleep.”
