Early in the morning, before the sun had fully risen, Jordan unlocked the doors of Bright star Auto Shop. The air smelled like rubber, oil, and fresh coffee. Jordan had worked as a mechanic for many years, and every day brought a new challenge. He turned on the lights, organized his tools, and got ready for a busy day of helping  customers.

            First customer

Only a few minutes later, the first customer arrived. Mrs. Lee stepped out of her blue car and looked worried. ¨ My car has been making a strange squealing noise every time i drive,¨ she  said. Jordan listened carefully and nodded. 

¨ Don´t worry, Mrs. Lee, ¨ he replied kindly. ¨I will inspect it and find the problem

The problem

 Jordan opened the hood and examined the engine closely. He checked the hoses, the battery, and the belts. After listening again, he noticed that one belt was cracked and loose. If it snapped completely, the car could stop working. Jordan explained the problem to Mrs. Lee and told her he could replace it right away.

                    The repair

Just as Jordan began the repair, another customer rushed into the shop. A young man pointed to his car and said, ¨ I have a flat tire, and I need to get to work soon The shop was already busy, busy but Jordan stayed calm and focused. A good mechanic must know how to solve more than one problem at a time.

                More challenges 

Jordan used a jack to lift the car safely. Then he removed the damaged tire and replaced it with a new one. Before lowering the car, he checked the other three tires to make sure they had enough air and no damage. Jordan believed safety was always the most important part of the job.

                            Teamwork

After finishing the tire repair, Jordan returned to Mrs. Lee´s car. He carefully removed the old belt and installed a brand- new one. He made sure it was tight and in the correct position. Mechanics must be patient  and careful, because even a small mistake can cause a larger problem later
