    One day baby Flower asked Miss Bunny if she could 

have Julie over for a play date. Miss bunny said yes of 

course as long as you behave and play nice with Julie 

.Okay I will play nice with July. Let me call her mom 

so i can in invite her over to play. Hello is this Julies 

mom? Yes it is, what would you like to tell me? Is it 

okay if July comes over to play? Yes that sounds very 

okay with me. She said, "alright I will pick her up at 

2:00", okay see you then bye. 

     Then Miss Bunny went to go get gas for the car. 

She got 1/2 of a gallon and 1/3 of a gallon. She 

figured out that 2 and 3 both go into six so   she 

changed them to 3/6 and 2/6 added them together 

and got 5/6 of a gallon. 

     After getting gas Miss Bunny went to the 

house to get Papa and Flower to go get Julie. She 

figured out that she would have to drive 1/2 of a 

mile to Julies house and 2/4 of a mile to the grocery 

store. She wanted to find out how many miles she 

will drive total. So she found out that 2 and 4 both go 

into 4 then she changed them to 2/4 and 2/4 . After 

that she added them up to get 4/4 of a mile. Then they 

started to drive to Julies house. 

     When they picked Julie up Miss Bunny asked 

Flower and Julie what they wanted to eat for lunch? 

Julie and Flower both screamed CARROT AND 

LETTUCE STEW! Okay said Miss Bunny and Papa, 

would you girls like to sit outside and eat your lunch? 

Yes of course we would. Now its off to the grocery mart.

     Miss Bunny told Papa that there is a sale at the bunny 

mart each pound of food is taster. Papa said, "okay that is 

great for us". Miss bunny said have only has nine dollars. 

Okay well then here is a dollar now you have ten,

Okay thanks. Bye Papa, going to the store now to get 

lunch, okay bye.

      When Miss Bunny got to the store she saw fresh   baby 

carrots for 9-1/8 pounds and a crisp bag of lettuce for 2-

3/4. She found out that 8 and 4 both go into 8. Then she 

changed them to 9/1-8 pounds 2-6/8 added them and got 

11-7/8 pounds. Wow said Miss Bunny that is way to much 

money! After that she saw a little bag of carrots for 5-1/2 

pounds and lettuce for 4-1/3. So she found out they both 

go into 6 changed them to 5-3/6 and 4-3/6. Added them 

up and got a total of 9-5/6 pounds perfect. Now home to 

make lunch.    

     When miss Bunny got home, she unloaded her 

basket of food and put it on the counter. After unloading 

the food she took out a pot from the cabinet and filled it 

with water. Then she put it on the stove to heat on 

medium for one hour. After that she copped up 1/2 of 

the carrots and 2/4 of the lettuce. She wanted to find 

out how many pounds she chopped up in total. So she 

figured out that 2 and 4 both go into 4. Then she 

changed them to 2/4 and 2/4 added them together and 

got 4/4.

     The stew is now ready so Miss Bunny cut some bread 

for the stew and put the stew in nice pink princess bowls

for Julie and Flower. Miss Bunny brought the bowls of 

stew to them outside. Miss Bunny came back to the 

kitchen and poured a heaping bowl of stew for Papa 

Bunny. She had a small bowl herself and cleaned up the 

kitchen.
