In the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of North Carolina, there was a blossoming community of animals of all kinds. There were also plenty of shrimp and small fish for predators to eat.

Then one day, a bull shark decided he would try to take all the fish and be the biggest animal in the ocean.

He made fast friends with a dolphin and many other animals. They brought him fish, other prey and any animal who dared to challenge his rule. He definitely liked eating those who questioned him.

A few days later, a stingray who didn't like all of this came up to the bull shark and told him that there wasn't enough food for the stingray to eat.

The bull shark ate the stingray, and he and his followers still had all the fish.

The next day, a crab and a squid swam up from the bottom because their shrimp and fish were being eaten by the shark and his followers.

The shark ate the squid, and an octopus loyal to the shark ate the crab.

Not long after that, a huge brown pelican came down and told the shark his followers were taking away the pelicans' food source.

Unlike all the ocean animals, the pelican and the other birds could see what was going on and how it hurt everyone.

The shark learned of this, but still did nothing. He didn't even try to eat the pelican because he thought its beak was too sharp to eat.
