The Earth's system contains 4 main spheres. These are the layers that protect and keep us alive during the day. Each layer has its own way of doing so. First off, the atmosphere. The atmosphere is a thin layer of gases, like oxygen, that helps us breathe! The geosphere, on the other hand, is where all Earth's heavy mass is! It's the layer of solid rocks and metals inside our beautiful Earth! On top of our solid Earth, all that water lies. The Hydrosphere is to thank! This sphere makes sure we have plenty of fun in the summer and plenty of drinking water!

And lastly, the Biosphere. The biosphere is all the animals and plants. This type of life could be anywhere you can imagine, like on top of big mountains and deep in scary oceans! Like us, plants and animals can't survive without these 4 spheres. Water, air, nature, and environment are all incredibly important for survival.

Next up, constructive forces. These forces construct or build up those big mountains! The big mountains called the Himalayas are the result of a big collision. The collision of the plates that carry India and China! Their edges were pushed together upward and formed the Himalayas. Usually, these make features we know as volcanoes!

Whilst being built up, they could also be slowly wearing away! The 4 seasons can cause breakdown of the land. Rain, ice, wind, and temperature change all cause weathering. Weathering is like this water, you see how it hits these rocks? It's slowly disintegrating the particles of this rock. Again, causing breakdown and disintegration. Weathering down these rocks can cause many different formations, like for example Ocean cliffs.
Earth has 4 main layers. The first layer being the inner core. The inner core is a blazing hot ball of solid metal! kind of like a hot soup, the inner core is hot, and the pressure is extreme down there. The second layer is the outer core. Like the inner core its a layer of metal! The only difference is that it's not like a marble, but instead it's a liquid!

The third layer is called the mantle! The mantle is also a layer of hot rocks and metals. Above these blazing carpets of rocks is the crust. We live on top of the crust, it's Earth's skin! Earth also has land and skin underneath the water! In oceans, we call that Ocean crust, which, as I said, is skin but underwater.
