A journey told by children.

To our children, whose enthusiasm, curiosity, and smiles inspired every page of this work and reminded us teachers how wonderful it is to keep learning.

Hello! We are the children of Seeds of Europe!
We are children and teachers from different European countries. Together we explored nature, seasons, plants, food, science, art and friendship.
We learned that even if we speak different languages, we can still grow together like flowers in the same garden.
“Europe became our classroom!”

Draw yourself as a flower. What colors would your petals have?
Write the name of your country:

Foods:
It all began with a tiny seed.

A seed held in our hands.
A seed almost invisible.
And yet, powerful enough to bring together children from different countries under the same
European sky.
During this journey, we observed nature, listened to the wind, collected data, built gardens, programmed robotic bees, and learned that ideas, just like seeds, need care in order to grow.

“Dear little plant, today I saw you grow a little more…”
“I promise I will take care of you.”
“I am growing together with you.”
On the classroom windowsill, small gardens full of stories, emotions, and wonder began to bloom.
We were not only helping a plant grow.
We were learning to grow too.

We planted our seeds with care.Every day we looked at them, watered them and waited patiently. We discovered that a seed needs soil, water, light and love to grow. Now it’s your turn!
Choose a seed.
Plant it in a small pot.
Water it carefully.
Observe it every day.
Draw what happens
after one day,
four day and one week.

When I put my hands in the soil, I felt a little happiness inside me.
During our project, we observed nature around us.
We looked at plants, flowers, leaves, insects, clouds and seasons.
We learned that nature is full of small details, but we need time and attention to notice them.

I am a stick insect.
What seeds can you find?
Draw them or create your own “Seed Box”.
Now it’s your turn!
Go outside and look carefully around you.
Can you find:
Draw or write what you discovered.

How about you?

We observed: clouds,rain,wind,sun
We discovered that the sky we see every morning connects us with the rest of Europe.

Look outside the window. What is the weather like today?
Try to create your own weather calendar.

We built: an anemometer to observe the wind and a rain gauge to measure the rain
Every day we observed the sky and recorded:clouds, rain, wind, sunshine
We felt like real meteorologists!

We built a small anemometer to see how strong the wind is.
When the wind blows, the cups spin: the faster they spin, the stronger the wind is.

Materials:
4 paper cups, 2 sticks or straws, 1 pencil with an eraser, 1 pin, tape, crayons.
Steps:
the cups spin in the wind.

Add a photo of your anemometer.

Would you like to build your own rain gauge? Watch the tutorial and try to create one using simple recycled materials.

Materials: A round plastic bottle, a ruler, a permanent marker, some small stones, scissors and tape.
Steps:

Add a photo of your rain gauge.

We discovered that in nature everything can transform.

You can colour it if you want, and you can use the rainwater collected in the rain gauge.
