The Sun

The Sun is the hottest star in the Solar System. “HOT, HOT, HOT!” says the Sun. If the Sun didn’t exist, then the Earth wouldn’t have life, but it does. The Sun makes Earth a stunning place, full of life and laughter, and keeps every planet in the Solar System happy.

Mercury

I’m Mercury. I’m the closest planet to the magnificent Sun, but, like the Sun, I’m very hot. “It’s so hot!” I’m small, gray, and adorable. All the planets are happy to have me. My gravity is a whopping 3.7 m/s².

Venus

Hola! I’m Venus. I’m the closest planet to the wonderful Earth and my best friend, Mercury. A cool fact about me is that one day on Earth is 24 hours. Feels long, eh? Nope, not even close. For me, Venus, one day is a whole year. That’s long!

Earth

Hello, I'm Mars. I'm a red planet. I have two amazing moon friends, Phobos and Deimos. My Earth friends are Perseverance and Curiosity. I'm so happy to have Earth's creations on me. A cool fact is that I could have been a water planet a long time ago.  If it's true, then I would be amazed that I used to be like Earth.

Hey, so I'm Ceres. I'm gray, like Mercury. I'm located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, which is so cool. I was actually discovered in 1801 by Giuseppe Piazzi. Woah! The year 1801 was so sick.  

Jupiter

Yo, I’m Jupiter. I’m the biggest planet in the Solar System. I got a lot of moons, and I love every single one. I’m known for my Red Spot. I’m also a gas giant, which means I don’t have solid ground. A cool fact that a lot of people don’t know is that I have rings, like Saturn and Uranus. My Red Spot is actually very windy; it’s like a storm.

Saturn

Hey, I’m Saturn. I’m a planet with rings and moons. I love my rings; they’re like a hula hoop, but made out of ice and rocks. I’m a gas giant, like Jupiter. Jupiter has rings too, and I think that's magnificent!

Uranus
