"It's Christmas eve," says Willowbrook the dog merrily.
"I wonder what we have in store for today..."
Ring-ring, ring-ring.
"I'll pick it up," says Bilbur the pig, excitedly.

"Hello, it's Santa Claus here, can I speak
with Henny Penny please."
"I'll pass the phone to her," says Bilbur.
"Hello, It is Henny Penny speaking,"
"Hello, Henny Penny, it is Santa here, I've
got some bad news for you."
"Bad news? Oh dear..."
"Yes, I have broken a leg while practicing
scaling down a chimney."
I am afraid I will not be able to deliver all
the presents to the children."
"Oh no, what are we going to do Santa?"
says Henny Penny worriedly.
"Well, I have a solution...I was wondering
whether you would like to take my place
this Christmas and deliver all the lovely
presents?"
"Me? A chicken as Santa? Well of course!
What a brilliant idea," clucked Henny
Penny.
"Santa Claws it is then!"
"Thank you Santa. I've got lots to do now.
Ta-ta. Take care of that leg. Bye now,"
rushes of Henny Penny.

Henny Penny and Bilbur sat down and came up with a plan.
"What about the reindeer's, where are we going to find
them?" asks Bilbur nervously.
"The chicks could be the reindeer's," squealed Bilbur.
"That's an excellent idea Bilbur!"
"I'll tell them straight away."

"CHICKS CHICKS, come here," Henny Penny calls out.
"Yes Mummy, we are coming..." they all reply.
"Guess what, we're all going to take over from Santa and
his reindeer's this Christmas. I'll be Santa and you chicks
will be my little reindeer's!"
"Really?? Yipeeeeeeeee!" squeal the chicks altogether.
"You'll all need to get the sack of presents ready while I
get cracking on the costumes straight away."
"I'll set the alarm so we leave at the right time," says one
of the chicks.

Henny Penny decorates the sledge with bells and gets her
three chicks dressed up as reindeer's.
The presents are all wrapped and sorted out in bags to be
delivered to the children of Farmsville.
Beep-beep, beep-beep goes the alarm clock.
"Lets go chicks. It is time to leave now!"
