Judy Garland was born on June 10, 1922 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. She had her parents, Frank and Ethel Gum and her older sisters, Dorthy and Mary Gum. They owned a theater and preformed in between shows, which sparked Judy's mind to being a famous performer. When she was 2, she made her first performance with her sisters, singing and dancing at their theater. As she grew up, she studied for better performances and went to school that most pop stars we know today went to.
Judy's Childhood

Around the 1930s, Garland was singing powerful and intense solos, and to keep up with all her shows, her mother forced her to take pills to stay awake and go to sleep. Later, she went to schools for "future Hollywood stars”, and soon enough she was a Hollywood star at the age of 13. These schools include Meglin Kiddies professional school, Hollywood Professional School, MGM Schooling, and she graduated from University High School in Los.

Judy was married 5 times, for example she married David Rose, Vicente Minnelli, Sidney Luft, Mark Herrom, and Mickey Deans. She had 3 children, Liza Minnelli, Lorna Luft, and Joey Luft. In addition, Judy was known for having pets all throughout her life, especially a love for dogs. For example she had a poodle named Cho Cho, a German shepherd named Brany, a special gift of 2 love birds from Clark Gable, and various other pets that are unknown. Judy Garland lived in various places. She was born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, but he later moved to California. However, towards the end of her life, she lived in London, and passed away there.
Adulthood

Judy Garland’s adult life was a special experience. She got to play the famous role of Dorthy in the Wizard of Oz and sing her world famous song, "Over the Rainbow". However, She loved her job as a famous singer, but the pressure of it made it less enjoyable. Throughout her life she experienced sad hardships that affected her stage life. Judy was mainly a famous Hollywood singer, actor, and vaudevillian. Judy Garland’s challenges were a mix of talent and sad hardships, including intense depression and addiction that started in her teens. She was reported to be commonly stressed and suffer from it. However, she loved feeling the joy from her performances on the stage, and she tried to ignore her tragedies that were held off the stage.
