One quiet morning in a little town, a little brown pup sat all alone at the animal shelter.

His name was Whisper because he never barked. Instead he made a "woo-woo" sound that sounded like whispers in the wind.

While the other puppies jumped and barked at visitors, Whisper stayed curled in his blanket, watching with his
