There was once a penguin, named
Christopher. Who loved soccer and fish
tamales. He lived in the Tundra biome that
was very cold at about -34 degrees.

There is little to no vegetation or plants.
As same with the rain which there is
usually none. But there is precipitation of
sort which is snow.

He one day decides to go swimming for
food that gives him energy to play his
favorite sport of soccer. He loves fish , that
is his favorite food.

He is considered to be a secondary consumer as
so are fish. Fishes eat small shrimp that are
primary consumers. Then small shrimp eat plant-
plankton which are producers since they make
there own food.

But at the top of this food web is the sea
lion and killer whale which are tertiary
consumers but since the killer whale eats
the sea lion, they are considered the top
dog of this biome.

Through this food web energy is lost . Think of it
like a pyramid (an energy pyramid) . Notice how
it gets smaller towards the top. That is the same
with energy. Animals eat organisms to get
energy . Producers are at the bottom with the
most energy, while the top of the tertiary level
has the least energy.

He notices that the water looks really
dirty and black , like crude oil.

He catches a dead fish and tries it but it
tasted really bad and it was dead when he
caught it. The oil affected them , causing
them to die because oil is toxic and it's all
in the water.

He talks to his polar bear friend , Josue, to
see if he knows whats going on.

"I've been seeing some strange things by the
seashore. I've also seen something big and
made of metal. You should go check it out."
Josue says to Christopher.

Christopher finds an oil rig after doing some
investigation. As it says in the name, these
places pump out oil from the earth. But "why is it
pumping oil into the ocean?" the penguin asks
himself.

Oil is one of the ecosystem services
available in the Tundra .But it is quite
unusual for the oil rig to pump it back into
the ocean.

He investigates and finds that a pipe is freely
releasing oil into the ocean with nobody
stopping it. This was starting to become a big
oil spill.

He find this to be "fishy" and decides to
board the rig and see what's going on.

He finds himself in the control room. Where it
controls the whole the rig....... And he sees a
person doing something.

He sees his arch enemy Rachel Howes.

"Haha it seems , you found my evil lair. Well
if you must know, I'm pumping oil into the
ocean to destroy the environment and there
is nothing you can do about it"
