This is the first story I have ever made based off of my favourite anime Demon Slayer I know it's bad but pls no rude comments this was the best I could do now, enjoy! :)

Tanjiro, a calm but determined demon slayer was walking along a dusty country side path when his messenger kasugai crow landed on his shoulder and said "Tanjiro a demon has been spotted in the forests of Mount Natagumo! You must go, this is your new mission caw! caw!" "Is that so?... alright." Tanjiro said. After that as the crow flew away it called "Caw caw! Giyu and Shinobu will be coming with you!" "Hmm I could use some help." Tanjiro thought.

(2 hours later) "Alright now we're at the foot of the mountain." Giyu said, Tanjiro and Shinobu nodded. They stood silent there for a minute, then Shinobu suggested "How about we split up and when we catch Rui we send out a signal? Tanjiro and Giyu agreed. When Tanjiro was half way up the mountain he heard a twig snap but when he turned back there was nothing so he dismissed it.

Suddenly he heard footsteps to his left but when he turned that way gripping his sword there was nothing... and Tanjiro started to feel a pang of worry.

And when he turned forward... there he was! Rui the demon he had been searching for

"RUI!" Tanjiro yelled as he drew his sword and said "Water breathing 7th form! Striking tide!" Then he thrust toward Rui. But Rui smiled and said in a sinister voice "You think that will hurt me? as he blocked his attack and scratched Tanjiro's forehead. "Ouch! GRR WATER BREATHING 2ND FORM WATER WHEEL!!!" Tanjiro yelled. This time Rui could not dodge as Tanjiro sliced his arm off but he regenerated "uh oh" Tanjiro thought. "YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT!!!" Rui yelled as he shot sharp bramble like webs from his hands. Tanjiro dodged almost all of them but one made a small cut on his leg.

Then Tanjiro yelled "RUI I WILL DEFEAT YOU MARK MY WORDS! After that Tanjiro said "Water breathing first form! water surface slash!"

But Rui said you think that will hurt ME!?" as he slapped Tanjiro away like a fly "Ouch! my ankle!" Tanjiro said as he landed. He sprained his ankle! Tanjiro tried getting up but he could not and Rui said "NOW I CAN FINISH YOU OFF!!!" "Oh no I'm dead!" Tanjiro thought. But just then, WHOOSH! Rui screeched as blood splattered from his back and he jumped up and into the trees. "Hide Tanjiro!" it was Giyu! He said "Tanjiro you have to hide or Rui will come back for you!, Shinobu is on her way!
