I am currently a second-year Kindergarten teacher at Upson Lee Primary School in Thomaston, Georgia. I hold a dual Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Gordon State College. I come from a small, loving family rich in traditions and culture, with roots in Mexico. As a proud first-generation college graduate,

I am honored to be the first in my family to earn a Master’s Degree.

History has always been my favorite subject. My parents instilled in me the importance of remembering and honoring our past, and the values I carry with me both personally and professionally.

My family has always been my biggest source of strength and support. Through every challenge and success, they have encouraged me, believed in me, and motivated me to keep going. I am truly grateful for their love, sacrifices, and constant support throughout this journey.

I was born in Phoenix, Arizona, but moved to Georgia at a young age. My family lived in Atlanta until I was 10, when we relocated to the small, welcoming town of Thomaston. Thomaston is a charming community, and I truly appreciate its peaceful atmosphere. I am passionate about giving back and try to support my community whenever I can.

I am a person of faith and attend St. Peter the Rock Catholic Church, where I find comfort and strength. My friends and family have been a tremendous source of support, especially during my current treatment for thyroid cancer. Being part of this close-knit community has blessed my family and me with the love and encouragement we need.
