Queen Tamar was one of the most prominent and powerful rulers of Georgia. She ruled the country in the 12th-13th centuries, and the period of her reign is considered the "Golden Age" of Georgia.
During Queen Tamar's reign, Georgia became stronger both politically and culturally and economically. Queen Tamar was distinguished by her wisdom, justice, and care for the people. Many churches and cultural centers were built during her reign. Queen Tamar is a national hero for Georgians, because she strengthened the country, protected its unity, and left a significant mark on the history of Georgia. Her name is still associated with strength, wisdom, and love of her homeland.

Vecihi Hürkuş kimdi?
The Life of Vecihi Hürkuş
Vecihi Hürkuş, one of the leading figures in Turkish aviation, was also the architect of the country's first aircraft. Successfully completed on January 28, 1925, the aircraft was named after an enemy plane that crashed in Edirne and bore his name. The first Turkish aircraft built was named 'Vecihi K VI'.
Later, under the guidance of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Vecihi Hürkuş joined the Turkish Aviation Association (TTK) and undertook a tour of Turkey on behalf of theassociation in 1931. He also founded the Civil Aviation School on April 21, 1932.On November 29, 1954, he made a significant contribution by establishing Hürkuş Airlines, known as Türkiye's first civil aviation conversion company. In particular, aircraft decommissioned by Turkish Airlines were purchased, repaired, and converted back into service. Facing the final challenges of life, primarily financial difficulties, Vecihi Hürkuş passed away on July 16, 1969, at Gülhane Military Medical Hospital due to a cerebral hemorrhage.
