They loved to live in hot areas. They live in the Savannah
because its very hot and dry. The savannah is mainly dry, but
when the wet season comes, the area is very wet. They run
very fast, and love to travel during the day. "Don't run off too
far", Jackie would often say.

Jackie's cubs was all she cared about, so she kept them away from other
animals so that no animal can hurt them. Jackie is still friendly with
others.

One day jackie went to hunt for food. She noticed that it was harder
trying to find the animals she eats, which are warthogs, rabbits,
gazelles, young wildebeests, young zebras and other animals.

The cheetah, is a carnivore, meaning it eats meat. There are different animals that
eat to get the energy to survive. Plants need sunlight and water to grow. They are
called producers. They produce certain nutrients to feed other animals. Animals
that eat plants are called herbivore. Animals that eat both plants and meat are
called omnivores.

The resources the savannah has for humans are, the skins and meats of
other animals (food), fresh water, and also medicinal resources. We use
the venom or toxins of other animals to help create anti venom, and use
trees to cure disease.

The hunters that Jackie seen, were not hunting the animals, but hunting
for a special plant with roots that can help heal their friends from
malaria. Though they were searching for the root, Jackie ordered them
to get off the land for wildlife. Both hunters laughed and pointed a gun
to her face.

They both took a good look at Jackie, and immediately, noticed that
Jackie's kind, is considered an endangered species, and according to
the Endangered species Act, a law that prevented poachers, or
hunters that a certain animal cannot be hunted, killed, or sold, they
could not shoot Jackie.

Instead, the hunters tie Jackie up, and leave her. Soon after, Mark
see's his mother, and cries. "There there Mark, come release your
mother, so she can save everyone", Jackie says. "Okay, mamma", Mark
replies.
