Introduction
In a world where diversity represents a fundamental value, education plays a crucial role in building communities based on respect, empathy, dialogue, and mutual understanding.
The eTwinning project “Education for Intercultural Peace – Combating Violence and Bullying” brought together teachers and students from different educational backgrounds with the aim of promoting a culture of peace and preventing violence and bullying in schools.
Through a wide range of collaborative activities, students were encouraged to express their ideas, appreciate cultural differences, and develop essential skills such as communication, cooperation, empathy, and social responsibility. Teachers created engaging learning experiences by using digital tools such as Mentimeter, Canva, Padlet, and other collaborative platforms, which supported creativity, interaction, and the exchange of ideas among participants.
The final product of the project is this digital collage, which brings together the main activities carried out throughout the project: thematic posters, representative logos, messages promoting peace, students’ creative works, and collaborative moments between teachers and learners.
Each page reflects an idea, a voice, and a contribution dedicated to a common goal: respecting diversity, combating violence, and creating a safe, inclusive, and friendly educational environment for everyone.
This material is not only a collection of activities, but also a reflection of the power of international collaboration in education and of the important role young people play in promoting a society built on respect, acceptance, and peace.
„Together we learn, together we respect, together we build peace.”

As part of a collaborative activity, our students worked together with students from Georgia to create a PowerPoint presentation about bullying. They exchanged ideas, discussed the causes and effects of bullying, and suggested ways to promote respect, empathy, and inclusion in schools. This activity helped students improve their teamwork, communication, and intercultural collaboration skills.
