Meet Wally the Water Droplet! Wally lives in a peaceful lake and loves exploring. One sunny day, he begins an exciting adventure.

Wally was floating in the lake when Sunny the Sun smiled down from the sky. “I can feel the water getting warmer!” said Wally.

As the water warmed up, Wally started to rise into the air. “This is called evaporation,” said Sunny. “When water heats up, it changes into water vapor and rises into the sky.”

Higher and higher Wally floated until he met many other water droplets. Together they formed a fluffy cloud.

“This is called condensation,” explained Cloudy the Cloud. “Water vapor cools down and turns back into tiny droplets.”

Soon the cloud became full and heavy. “What do you think will happen next?” asked Wally.

Plop! Splash! Wally fell from the cloud as rain. “This is called precipitation,” said Cloudy.
