I know that might be one of the weirdest questions you've ever heard.

My grandma was peeling potatos in the kitchen.

And I said, 'You're peeling a potato!'

Then she looked at me and said, 'I know!'

She said it like she wasn't already standing there peeling it the whole time!"

Don't peel the potato skin; it's healthy to eat. She frowned at me through her glasses.

She said, "Research some facts and convince me why I should not peel potatoes."

So that is why I am making this book

Then I was like, “Hey, the potato skin is actually the healthiest part of a potato!” If you throw away the skin, you miss out on many of the nutrients.

Sure, the skin might not taste very yummy to everyone, but it's really good for you. If you want to be healthier, my advice is to eat the whole potato, including the skin!

Potatoes are best when you boil them, especially if you keep the skin on. I also like fried potatoes, but I still think you should keep the skin because that's where a lot of the healthy stuff is!

My grandma said, "If you want me to eat potato skin, you need to show me proof to persuade me." 

All right, now let's talk about potatoes and why they are healthy! Potatoes have vitamins C and B6, which help your body stay strong. The skin of a potato is especially healthy because it can help your heart, improve digestion, and help keep your blood sugar balanced. The skin also has important minerals like magnesium, iron, and potassium.

Now, how about a potato joke?

If a potato is obsessed with another potato, what would it say?

The answer is: "You're one hot potato!"
