It was Friendship Day in Ms. Carter’s classroom. The children were excited because today they would learn more about each other.

Ms. Carter: “Today we celebrate what makes each of you special.” The children looked around and wondered what they would share.

Ava stood up to share. She brought a photo of her family cooking traditional food together.

“This is from my home!” Ava said.

Jayden shared something special too.
"My family speaks two languages!”
The class clapped and tried saying a few words in his language.

Logan showed a drawing of her favorite game with her cousins.

"We take turns and help each other so everyone can play.” Logan said.

Later, the children played together during center time. They practiced sharing, taking turns, and working as a team.

Two children reached for the same toy at the same time.

They paused and remembered what they learned.

“Let’s take turns.” Sara said. “Okay, and we can play together too!” Dan said.

They smiled and solved the problem peacefully.
