Henry Ford was born on a farm in Michigan on July 30, 1863 to William and Mary Litogot Ford. He was the oldest of 6 children. While most children enjoyed farm chores, Henry was fascinated by machines. He loved talking watches apart and learning how they tiny gears worked together.
