One day, a brave woman named Rosa Parks refused to give her seat up on a city bus because she believed the laws were unfair. Martin Luther Kind Jr. helped lead the Montgomery Bus Boycott, where thousands of people chose to walk instead of riding the buses. They kept going for more than a year! Their peaceful boycott helped change laws and showed that people working together can make a big impact. 

I Have a Dream 

On August 28, 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. stood in front of thousands of people in Washington, DC. and gave a his "I Have a Dream" speech. He shared his dream that one day all people would be treated equally, no matter the color of their skin. His words had so much power and it gave people hope. This speech inspired millions to work together for fairness and justice.
