Introducing the Characters

Luna

Snaps

One sunny morning, Chewy, Snaps, and Luna were walking through the forest when they discovered something very strange.  

Hidden under a bush was a shiny machine with a big red button. 

"What do you think it does?" asked Luna.  

"I guess there's only one way to find out!"  said Snaps. 

Snaps pressed the button.

"3...2...1...zap!"

A bright flash filled the air.

Suddenly the three friends became tiny - so tiny they were no bigger than specks of dust.  

"Whoa!" laughed Chewy.  "This is amazing!"

They climbed into a toy car and zoomed all the way to the beach.  

"We're going to have the best day ever!" they cheered.  

The waves sparked, and the ocean looked beautiful.  But then they noticed something wasn't right. 

 Garbage was floating everywhere.  Plastic bottles, cans, wrappers, and bags drifted through the water.  

Then they heard a quiet cry.  

"Help!"

A sea turtle was trapped inside a plastic bag.

"We have to save him!"  shouted Chewy.  

Luna had an idea.  "Let's find some scissors!"

The friends raced back to their tiny car. 

The car was filled with trash because children forgot to clean up after themselves.  The friends searched everywhere.  It felt like they searched for a million hours!  By the time they finally found the scissors, they joked that they had turned into Grandpas.

Luckily, they also found a magical potion that turned them back into kid size again.  

Everyone laughed. 

They hurried back to the ocean.  Chewy carefully snipped the plastic bag.  The turtle swam free.

"Thank you so much!" he smiled.

"My name is Turtle McTurtles."

"Hi!" said Chewy.  

"I'm Chewy."

"I'm Snaps."

"I'm Luna."

"Do you want to be friends?" asked Turtle McTurtles.  

"Of course!" they all said.   

Then Turtle McTurles looked worried.  

"A shark has been dumping garbage into the ocean."

"What?" gasped Luna.

"I saw him yesterday." said Chewy.
