"Honey! why! why, would you cheat on me!" I slammed the front door, heartbroken, running away. My wife cheated on me! How could she! I ran to my apartment and was crying, thinking about ending it all. Then I saw something. Something that would change my life.

         CHAPTER 1, 4 billion years from now...

Outside my window, there was an advertisement for a humanity-saving space mission, go to the planet k218b. A very dangerous mission to space. The whole reason for it was because the world was ending soon due to the sun slowly growing into a red giant and soon, consuming the earth. But because I had nothing to lose, I signed up for the mission and it turns out, nobody wanted to. only 10 people signed up other than me. In the coming

days, the space corporation NASA, sent me stuff to agree to before the mission I made sure to agree to all of it as fast as possible. And soon, they invited me to there office. I went there and when I arrived, there was the owners of NASA sitting at a round table with the logo of NASA plastered in the middle. I took the only empty seat and the head president of NASA slid a form

to me and said "sign it and we will start your training. On the form it Said all the warnings and dangers of this mission which I of course did not care about one bit, and at the bottom was the empty line and the words next to it, "Sign Here" and I signed it. My journey starts here. I gave the form back to the president and he looked at it once, then folded it, put it in his pocket, and walked me to my new room in the station.

The room was sleek, with clean white on the walls, stainless steel table with a huge television above it, and a z57s gaming console connected to the television, a very neatly made bed, a night stand next to it, a lamp on top. I walked over to the bed and looked in the drawer, that had a book about the history of the discovery of space in it and a welcome to Nasa card on it. I closed the drawer, and turned on the television and watched some space documentary's. the president left the room and wished for my comfort in this elegant room. What a fancy wancy I whispered to myself. As I fell asleep.

The next day, I woke up and went to the lunch area to have breakfast. And there I met my space mates. Dane had sleek black hair and a attitude. he was talking with Chase, another guy with black hair about how they wished they had beer instead of water. Kate was experienced. but very kind with grey hair she reminded me of my grandma. Samara, was a girl with brown hair and rather on the attractive side. There was only 5 people including me so I guess the other five chickened out at the last moment. I chose to sit with Samara who looked like me, around 20 years old which matches because I'm 22!

She greeted me when I sat down and we talked about space while we ate eggs and tater-tots. I was excited to see the nebulas and galaxy's and she told me that when we see the galaxy's and nebulas they will be black and red because the human eye cannot look at space with the colors like the telescope photos. I was amazed she knew that about space! We went back to our rooms and we waited for the people to call our names for the first training section. 

I was the last one to have my name called and when my name was called, I ran to the presidents office where he would guide me to my training session room. When we walked in there was a control panel where you can learn how to drive the spacecraft and control it. The president walked over and showed me the board. There was hundreds of buttons and levers with black and blue screens all over the place. he told me what to press to turn, go forward, backward, left, right. which looked very cool and was hard to master. on top there was a screen and when the president turned it on, 

it was a screen to simulate the window of a spacecraft and I controlled the space craft to not hit anything and to avoid black holes using a radio telescope which detects radio waves in the electromagnetic spectrum, located next to the board. There was also windows on the side which also had screens to simulate space with nebulas, planets, galaxy's. and I took a test and the president said it was for deciding who was going to drive the space craft when we went on the mission. Then after the test the president sent me back to the 

lunch area to have dinner where they had steak, pork, potato's, carrots, rice. I got carrots, steak, rice and sat next to my friend samara, we talked about how little of a chance for us to be the pilot and just some useless people staring out the window and talking about random stuff which gave us a good laugh, but all good things must come to an end, so we went out separate ways and went to our rooms to get rest for tomorrow.

The next day, I went to breakfast and sat next to Kate, who I felt bad for because she was alone we talked about what the documentary's said about amazing galaxy's and nebulas but then the president and a manager walked to the front of the cafeteria and announced that if you want to see the galaxys with great detail, they have lenses to make space have color. Me and Samara glanced at each other and we both thought the same thing. We are getting that lens.

Only me and Samara went with the president for the lens. When we got to the room they gave us a weird pill and we consumed it. when we woke up it was the day to leave. The pill took too long and we missed most training but we got lots of rest and we went to the space craft outside.

CHAPTER 2.

me, Samara, Kate,  Dane, Chase. all of us are going to save humanity.  the hades's spacecraft was on its launch pad. waiting for its passengers to enter. First, was Dane, then Chase, me, Samara all entered the spacecraft then lastly, Kate. The spacecraft was huge, at the front there was the control board for the pilot which the pilot was on screen, it was Dane.

I don't know how the hot headed 13 year old pulled it off. How did he drive the digital spacecraft better than all of us!? All of us looked shocked, even Chase Danes best friend was surprised. Kate whispered to me, "That kid will be the death of us" I nodded and agreed with a slight giggle. Me and Samara sat on opposite ends of the spacecraft so we got the window seat but still was able to talk to each other. but then Chase came in and chose the seat next to ME now I couldn't talk to Samara even if I wanted to!

I angrily said to him to move to the seat next to Kate but he didn't care, of course and just ignored me. I reached my last straw. I shoved him off the seat. Dude!? what the hell man? said Chase as he slapped my hand. Oh, you wanna go? yeah, yeah?! Chase, Sam please shut up. I'm trying to fly and I need some focus! Me and Chase sat down next to each other and I glared at him. He glared back. I elbowed him to move and he elbowed me back. badum crrrrrk the spacecraft wobbled violently. What the hell is going on? yelled Chase next to me.

"We are in Saturn's rings!" yelled Dane. SATURNS RINGS! HOW DUMB ARE YOU!! yelled Chase "don't worry to much our space craft is thick and strong we will be ok." Yeah! sure we will! If you steer out of it you hippo! Dane and Chase were In a heated argument next to me while I was waiting for us to land on the planet. "Wait! said Kate "go upward to get out the rings then go hyper! we will be there in minutes! rrrrrrrrr A big chunk of the ship was ripped off 

and it launched us from our seats. all 4 of us out of our seats other than Dane, who was holding on to the steering wheel like it was someones shirt who was about to fall and technically he was, but with 4 other shirts. Samara, was scared out of her wits and so was I Chase was gripping onto the seat and Kate was yelling Dane was sweating harder than someone running a marathon. All this was happening at once then my vision became blurry, and I blacked out.

I woke up. 10 hours later. the ship was is shambles but still flying. The ship was coming back into my blurry view and Kate and Samara were standing over me and when they saw my eyes open they were ecstatic. Samara told me we were passing the pillars of creation! I looked out the window the lenses worked! It was the single most beautiful thing I have seen in my entire life.  

The pillars of creation. The eagle nebula. Was right next the the spacecraft window. the lenses made my eyes able to see the Eagle nebula in all its glory. Kate pushed me aside and looked out the window. to her the eagle nebula looked dark red and black because the naked eye cannot process the colors and light waves that are committed from this nebula and most galaxy's too. Sam, we really don't appreciate your blabbler about science and space we are just here to save the world. Shut up, dane we all yelled other than Chase, his best friend.

CHAPTER 3    2 hours later (74 years on earth)

Our spacecraft Finally hit solid ground with a loud thud from the rocket ship. I ran to the front with Samara behind me and I watched the stairs slowly come down. We were on land. At least the small bit of land on this planet 9 times bigger than our home planet earth. I walked down and touched the planets ground. The squishy substances made a dissatisfying sound when I take a step next was Samara, who walked down and when she heard the squish sound it made her gag which I chuckled at.

eventually, all of us were on the surface and we set up camp. The surface was squishy and the sky was a blue-green mixture and the water looked purplish with the ground being a dirrhea  brown that looks disgusting and we were all tired other than me who got a good nights sleep on the ship if you know what I mean. So I started to look around the little land and the coastal shores of this weird planet and while I was doing that I heard this terrible screeching noise from the water so I started running home  and when I got there the others were awake they heard it to...

Chapter 4 The next day on k218b....

We were all pretty scared speaking that screech was horrific and not human in the slightest bit. Everybody was paranoid the next day with Dane and Chase being scared the most with them being the youngest of the group with Dane being 18 and Chase 19 and they barely reached the age limit of 18 and up. There was no procrastinating allowed today because we had to hurry or else we will be to late to come back to earth. We all voted on who drank the water to make sure it is safe.

1 vote for me 0 votes for Sarah 1 vote for Dane 2 votes for Chase. Him, being the rebel he is voted for HIMSELF I have nothing to lose and I didn't even vote myself and he is 19! He ran to the water with a big grin on his face and ducked over and drank the water.... Suddenly he toppled over lifeless... Dane came over and shook him but there was no saving him.... Kate ran over and grabbed a pack of medicine for poison and a defibrillation kit. She rolled him over on his side and put water and pills in his mouth. Nothing. Then she used the defibrillation kit and used the voltages.

100, 200, 300, 500, 1000! Still no response.  Just like that, Chase was dead....

Chapter 5

Dane was crying as he looked at the death of his friend. Kate comforted him saying we will make a memorial for him. He went to his tent because he didn't want to see the autopsy. We cut him open and the water was perfectly fine. The thing that killed him was in the water....  His eyes were open too, so it sorta made sense. what could have killed him? I say to the group Kate started talking about an old urban legend Cthulhu. Anybody who looks at him dies because they cannot process what is in front of 

them. So that's why scientists had a high dimethyl sulfide in its atmosphere. I saw that in the space documentary during training. We finished the autopsy and Dane came out and asked what killed him. We told him and he didn't believe it. he tied a cup to a string and lowered it into the water and raised it up giving him a full cup of water and he took a sip he was fine. Sarah pulled me aside and told me that she saw something crawl out the cup and is on the land. I tell her she is imagining stuff but I believe her. 

Then she brings up something I was not expecting. "I like you, Sam" I like you too. She threw me straight into a hug. 

Chapter 6 The next day

I woke up in my tent and went over to the grill and started to cook some steak. The sun was a gold and orange that looked beautiful. Everybody was asleep but Kate was sitting on a rock looking at the sun. While the steak was cooking I walked over to her and she put a hand next to her on an empty rock next to her. The rocks are a weird mossy green color.

We sat there for a minute, looking at the sunrise. "So, why did you join the mission? I asked. "My husband was a big science guy, but he died 5 years ago...." I can hear her voice getting sorta hoarse like she might cry. "I thought I should go on this mission to honor him. You would have really liked him his favorite nebula was the pillars of creation." Then she started crying and I wrapped my arm around her to comfort her but I was pretty sad too.

suddenly Samarah appeared. "I woke up from the smoke coming from the grill." Is the steak ready? "yeah you can grab it." I get up walking to the grill and setting the steak on some plates. gimme some! Yelled Dane from across the camp I set the plates on the blue grass and we all started eating. Dane was acting goofy as usual but I could tell there was something off in his voice like he wanted to cry but he doesn't want to.

We see an animal of some sort, looks like a Squirrel but its fur was a blue green mashup of some sort. It started running towards our steak "Get away from our steak butt hole!" Dane stabbed the squirrel with a sharp stone but another one came from the same direction. "Let's go check it out, come on" "k" coming we followed where the squirrels went into a hole in a tree and we knelt down and crawled through the tiny hole just big enough to fit into it.
