How's it going kid! I'm Rabby. Today, I will tell you all about how America began.

These 3 countries in Europe saw a chance to get rich in the newly discovered continent of America. 

This map shows where each country explored and claimed.

                 The Native Americans were already living there.

There were many different groups of Native Americans, including the Sioux who lived in tipis and the Mohawk who lived in longhouses.

   The Spanish were very mean to them.

   The French were much nicer and traded with       the Natives.

The English were a bit of both. They traded with the Natives, and they fought them for land.

But no matter how nice some of the Europeans were, they made a lot of the Natives very very sick on accident.
