“Minny, look! I made you a friendship bracelet!”

 “Thank you, Pinny! I love it!”

Pinny and Minny were best friends at school. 

They loved playing together, sharing their snacks, and laughing at silly jokes.

 “Minny! Come here!”

 “Um… Pinny, I don’t really like hugs right now.”

 Pinny was so happy that she wanted to give Minny a big hug.

“It’s okay. I like being your friend, but sometimes I don’t feel like hugging.”

“Oh! I’m sorry. I didn’t know you felt uncomfortable.”

 “That’s okay! You should always be able to decide what happens to your body.”

But Minny was uncomfortable and she didn't give consent to Pinny.

“Minny, can I give you a hug?”

“Not today, sorry.”

That’s okay! Thanks for telling me.

The next day, Pinny remembered what Minny had said.

They smile and give each other a high-five instead.
