Aarohi and Mum snuggled together on the sofa, enjoying their family time. As the clock reached seven, Mum smiled and said, “Aarohi, it’s bedtime now.”

Mum tucked Aarohi into bed and gave her a warm cuddle. “Goodnight, my love. Sweet dreams,” she whispered.

Mum slowly closed the door behind her.

Her cosy room suddenly felt very different in the dark.

Aarohi noticed a shadow stretching tall across the wall.
She stared for a moment. What could it be?

Tall on the wall, still and small…Aarohi held Teddy close and looked again.

"Mum!” Aarohi called. “There’s a strange shadow on my wall!”
