Despite being a completely different species with entirely contrasting personalities, their bond is built on a shared love of play, endless curiosity, and a deep sense of mutual comfort.

Every morning at exactly nine o'clock, the back door opened, and the daily games begin. Today’s game was Bellamy’s favorite: The Great Stealth Attack. Bellamy crouched low in the tall grass. He wiggled his long black tail, Left, right, wiggle, freeze. He was like a phantom, a shadow in the wind, just waiting to pounce.

Minnie was not a phantom. Minnie was currently busy chasing her own tail in circles on the patio. With a dramatic *BOING*, Bellamy launched himself through the air, landing right behind Minnie with his paws down. "RAWR!" She yipped, and Minnie gasped so hard she practically did a backflip. "The horror! A black panther has invaded the patio! She booped Bellamy right on his nose. """"TAG!""""
"You can't catch the furry flash!" Minnie barked, her little legs turning into a brown-and-black blur as she zoomed across the lawn.

Now it was Minnie's turn: The Zoomie Championship. Minnie ran in giant figure-eights around the birdbath and under the patio chairs. Her long ear-floof whipped in the wind. Bellamy sat down and watched her spin. He tilted his head. "Minnie, you are literally running in circles. "It's a tactical distraction!" She panted. She was dizzy but determined. Suddenly, while running so fast, Minnie tripped over her own fluffy ears and rolled like a fuzzy bowling ball straight into Bellamy's belly. They tumbled into a pile of freshly raked autumn leaves. Oof!   Fluff and fur flew everywhere.
