I have created this story to focus on children's emotion.

It was a sunny, blue sky day.

 Little Roo said, "Time to play!

So fast, hop hop hop, down the track and 

through the grass!

 Roo is going to the billabong and all her friends Play there as well!

Everyone was there at the billabong, 

Kev the Kookaburra in the air, 

Bella the Bilby, digging in the sand and Sammy the Skink, on a land.

May I swing on the vine? Roo asked with glee. 

“Sorry Roo,” said Bella, “It's Sammy's turn, you see.”

Roo's tummy got tight.Her paws were clenched into fists.

Her face went hot.Her eyes went mist.

"It's NOT FAIR!"Roo stomped her feet, making a large grey cloud, and shouted loud.

Old Grandma Emu approached just near, 

with a kind old smile, and a listening ear.

"Big feelings, Roo? It's okay to feel, 

let's take a step back and take one breath, my dear.

"Breath in like you're smelling a flower" - (sniiiif)

 "Now blow out slowly and gently for a minute or an hour" — (whoooosh!)

Roo took a breath. Her fists came undone. 

“I didn't mean to stomp on everyone... I still want a turn.”
